All jokes aside why would any mother want to tell her daughter to look like someone else. That seems like it would be hurtfull. Instead why not praise her for those qualities she has and forget those pictures,

What a horrible thing to do to a (beautiful) little girl. That stupid narcissistic monster known as the "mother" may as well have given the girl a bag of party pills for the amount of damage she is doing. And the guy who sells that carcinogenic radiation is a scumbag too.

It may not be on the same level, but my ex (back when we were still together) entered my eldest daughter into a local beauty contest for babies/toddlers. She came 1st for her age group and 2nd place overall. I can't tell you how proud we were...

Anyway, the ex had gone into town for shopping - happened to see a stall - and entered our daughter. No plans, no make-up, no special clothings, no nothing, just raw beauty.

That's how it should be. Just natural beauty it lets you see the real person and isn't that where we should look.

i think the mother thinks that people judge others on the way they look, probably exactly like she does, and she doesnt want her daughter to be seen as anything other than perfect, so she does love her, its just a bit of a warped way of seeing the world.

something men should be proud of is that they mostly seem to have avoided this superficial way of looking at the world, although some men are even more bitchy than the bitchiest women.
