What a horrible thing to do to a (beautiful) little girl. That stupid narcissistic monster known as the "mother" may as well have given the girl a bag of party pills for the amount of damage she is doing. And the guy who sells that carcinogenic radiation is a scumbag too.

It may not be on the same level, but my ex (back when we were still together) entered my eldest daughter into a local beauty contest for babies/toddlers. She came 1st for her age group and 2nd place overall. I can't tell you how proud we were...

Anyway, the ex had gone into town for shopping - happened to see a stall - and entered our daughter. No plans, no make-up, no special clothings, no nothing, just raw beauty.

That's how it should be. Just natural beauty it lets you see the real person and isn't that where we should look.

Agreed, except that though men have somewhat avoided looking at themselves in that superficial way with regard to physical looks (you don't see many men engaging in beauty contests), they haven't managed to avoid superficiality altogether...men tend to judge each other on material possessions such as nice cars, big houses...and let's not forget athletic prowess, fame, career status, wealth, and alas (they think this is more important than it really is): penis size. Oh and hair...men fear baldness...even though every bald man I've ever known looks very appealing that way! And, though they may not be as "obsessed" about their own looks as women are about theirs, men do rank beauty pretty high up on the list of attributes they seek and value in women.

BTW...I don't buy the evolutionary psychologists' way of explaining the above. Men don't value beauty "because beautiful women are supposedly more fertile" (where is the evidence to back up that textbook claim?) However.... a beautiful woman may attract more partners, thus creating more potential opportunities for her to become pregnant.

On the first item I have to agree with DB, men dont judge men by any of those things.For the most part its how they act, however be it some do get judgmental when they see a guy with his pants half way down his ass, gold chains on and a shirt 47 sizes to big...
And no we also dont really judge other men on things such as athletics, fame or jobs either....Truth be told, I think the actions of the man, pretty well dictate how we will interpret and treat another man...For example: if a dude acts like a douche bag, I will in fact think he IS a douche bag....And likewise will treat him as a douche bag.... However if he acts/treats me with respect, i will in fact think he is respectable and treat him likewise!


On the second item, there is some truth to what you say.Before I started going bald, it seemed like one of the worst things imaginable.That I cannot deny!
I think the reason why, was because, when I was younger i associated being bald, with being old, overweight and unappealing to women.
This I latter learned was false, as i started to lose hair at a point that became obvious at the age of about 23-24, and was in about the best shape physically i had EVER been in, and was getting more a$$ than a toilet seat....

But what you say about yourself liking bald men, is not the "norm" for women.I find that when women say that to me, they are mostly paying me "lip service".The reason why I say that isn't because they find me unattractive, in majority, I just find that I happen to have other things about myself that tend to "overwrite" the fact that I'm losing hair, such as knowing just about every poor soul in this god-forsaken area to which i live, and kind of a bad-boyish persona, not to mention I tend to be "well-spoken" in comparison with most around me, which is kind of a contradiction to assumptions made based on my appearance as I have tattoos and have had a lot of peirceings...Women like complicated men...And I'm pretty complicated... Theres also the whole "confidence" aspect that comes into play hear!

Anyway my point is that for men without so much in other areas are "dog food" as far as women are concerned.They know it, and I see it and even have heard women say it.

However, eventually most men that go bald learn to live with it...For the most part there is nothing you can do about it, so its illogical to let it get to you...My solution to trying to hide it was to simply shave my whole head completely bald.....Easy maintenance, and if I'm already completely bald I dont have to worry much about losing any hair do I?
