As i recall, the conservatives seemed rather father-friendly... Tony bLIAR won't be very pro-father as his wife, Cherie, is a feminist and he has to keep her happy. I mean, Gawd, he has to live with it, so in some degree, you can't blame the guy. OTOH, it would be nice if he grew some balls and stood up for what was right, instead of cowing to her demands.
For those wondering, Cherie bLIAR is the UK equal to Hilary Clinton:roll:

Out of the gloom a voice spake unto me. 'Smile and be happy, Things could get worse."
So I smiled and was happy, and behold... Things did get worse.

I thought they were male freindly to..Ms CAMERON seems to like women though..he has stated ''There are to many white men in politics' and is trying to change the image of the tory party...
He has appointed his shadow minister for 'Women and Equality, as you can find out from the shadow cabinet postings..

i wonder, in the not to distant future, will we hear comments from governments like:
Quote:
There are too many white male PEOPLE...
Followed by a plan to reduce the amount of men on the planet so as to free up more oxygen for women?

Out of the gloom a voice spake unto me. 'Smile and be happy, Things could get worse."

Same issues in US and Canada.
It seems that every "developed" country has managed a way to develop a complex political process designed to appear to give the voters a choice.
Right now, Canada is ripe for "Who'll support Mens Rights/Fathers 4 Justice principals" letters,as the special consideration abuses have run high in the last 3 years, and the current "No Confidence" political mulligan where liberal/socialist govt. was shot down cold.

In The US, the State of New Hampshire is traditionally where the first "primary"(don't count-but testing the water for viable party candidates/platforms to not adhere to) vote happens in the country.

For some reason some folks think it's important.
The Democratic(generally left/liberal/labor/socialist/dove/appologist)wants to move this event to "somewhere else" as there are too many Opinionated Male WASP folk. They call it "Not enough diversity".

In fact, the State is PERFECLY diverse. The average IQ in New Hampshire is 100. Those with an IQ above 100 tend to vote conservitively, and yet, just last year we adopted a Democrat Governor and an unusual majority pity vote for a Democrat at the last Presidential election(sic).;)
(yes, I know I'm abusing faulty statistics logic like a Democrat!)

Personally, I can't do crap for 'nucks/limeys except offer cheap support and encouragement. Rest assured I'm on the political party/candidate examination brigade in NH and the US. The "L word" dreaded by primary parties here refers to Libertarian (or libertarian).

I think the reason for very poor turnout at recent General elections is due to male apathy in the U.K. I cant prove this, but if i just go by my own insticts, I would say that I stayed away because there was no-one to vote for. These attributes were tradional female voting trends, but like most things they seem to have reversed. I believe that the first party that realises this will have a landslide at any election they chose to evoke the 'male vote'. If you look at the link on this page I asked the question 2 days ago...I have had no response whatsoever..Interesting
:?:

Hi Phantom... yes I have seen this and another site similar a while back..
The problem is the usual lack of co-operation by the mens movement as a whole. Fragmentation is the major problem that we face continuously, unless the people involved will unite with the others we have seen, it will be a wasted vote..but at least it is a protest I suppose, and that is something at least.
I agree with Harry, that the movement is a consciousness that has to be built within society for us to move forward.
It is bloody frustrating to see all the infrastructure that the fems have: paid for and put into place with our money ! !
I boil with anger sometimes wondering what we are doing just sitting back and allowing such destruction to happen around us !!
To paraphrase 'Evil prospers, when good men do nothing'
When are we all going to wake up and do something :?

The Idea is great, and your proposals marvelous. I was merely pointing out the the fact that by voting for one of these parties, for I am sure there are at least two: it only helps to put the party in that you want the least. At the moment there are not enough people would vote for them because of media bias etc.
Instead of using your vote put a party in..use your vote to keep the party out that is least favourable to the mens movement, in other words a 'tactical vote'. This could work as targeted feminist M.Ps could be ousted given the right circumstances.
That is all we can do unless we all unite as I said.
Then you would see those things you want come into fruition.
