Wow, I heard the word 'feminist' in my English class so many times today I think my ears bled by the end. We are currently reading "The Scarlet Letter" and are looking at the book through many different viewpoints, including a feminist one. Anyway, many of the girls were shrieking about oppression of some kind and how hard women were done by in this period (colonial times in America). The main character in the book, Hester Prynne, committed adultery, which was a sin punishable by death according to Puritan beliefs.

However, she got off comparatively easily due to multiple reasons (one of which we discussed was because she was a woman!) and was sentenced to wear a scarlet A on her chest the rest of her life. The girls in my class were moaning that after seven years the city still had not given Hester the chance to redeem herself, even though at this time many revered her and most had forgotten about her crime. One comment in particular caught my attention. The man Hester committed adultery with was the local minister, who was highly respected. Even though she was pressed heavily to tell, Hester kept his secret. Due to the heavy guilt in his heart, the minister's health slowly erode over seven years and he was driven to insanity. Some of the students in my class sympathized with his struggle but others thought he was a coward for not confessing. One of the girls had the gall to make this comment: "I think this book supports the feminist notion that women are able to face their fears and accept responsibility for their actions while men are cowards who hide behind the law or someone else.":funny:Reverse the sexes, and you have our situation today! Oh, the hypocrisy!

The most offensive thing you can do to a feminist is treat her with FULL equality.
Wife : "I dreamt they were auctioning off dicks. The big ones went for ten dollars and the thick ones went for twenty dollars."
Husband : "How about the ones like mine?"
Wife : "Those they gave away."
Husband : "I had a dream too...I dreamt they were auctioning off pussy. The pretty ones went for a thousand dollars, and the little tight ones went for two thousand."
Wife : "And how much for the ones like mine?"
Husband : "That's where they held the auction."

    YES!!!!
or leave a few flyers around....for this site and maybe a few flyers for books such as the "the war against men" etc..
    "the spreading of misandry.."

WHAT MAKES ME ANGRY IS THE WAY THESE FEMINIST WITCHES ARE SO FREE TO PRODUCE THEIR PROP AND LIES IN THE CLASSROOM!

no freedom of speech no debate...
feminism is a disease the Doc is working on a cure. Symptoms include compulsive liar, constant aggression, allergic to logic, often affects women who are fat with short hair and big earings, but can be normal looking.
Reason tablets three taken daily. If the sufferer displays shaming tactics double the dose. Remarkably the illness disappears in disaster zones.

Cowhead, have you attempted to refute any of their ignorant claims?

I'm not trying to put pressure on you at all, only you, are in a position to gauge the situation. However, even I'm frustrated here, that in a supposed democracy you cannot express your thoughts - and a hate ideology is allowed to fester unabated in a place of learning, or is that indoctrination?

This is so very wrong, yet so many have embraced it without engaging free thought. Is that allowed - freethinking? This is how, historically so many tyrannical despots and totalitarian dictatorships have flourished, because the masses of people are SHEEP!

All I would say, is if you choose not to be so direct, then adopt a more clandestine approach as suggested by Karl and others. Do you think any other demographic group would sit down in a learning (so called) enviroment, and allow someone, to daily preach an ideology to them that so vehemently despises their very existence, whilst adhereing to a notion which proposes the extermination of 90% of their group (valerie solanas-scum manifesto)?

    Whatever you do, DO SOMETHING!

Also the comment by one the girls "I think this book supports the feminist notion that women are able to face their fears and accept responsibility for their actions while men are cowards who hide behind the law or someone else." Now that would be an easy piece of retarded feminist absurdity to refute.

My class is about 70% women and a significant number of them are feminists (including the teacher). There is simply no way I can attempt to refute them without being subjected to shaming language or alienating myself from the rest of my class - resulting in a lower grade and possibly a hellish experience for the rest of the year. Of course, I haven't actually attempted to argue with them so I don't know if they would do this - but the risk is too high. I am doing something though, as my circle of friends are well-informed about my beliefs.

About getting them to check out this site, however, I think many of them are just too lazy. Yesterday I was showing one of my friends a joke on Maddox's site and he didn't want to read it because "it was too long." This joke was only a paragraph long (about 5 lines). My friends are willing to listen to my ideas and I've gotten many of them to share my views, but they aren't willing to put in the time and effort for proper activism.

That just about sums up the problem Cowhead.

If you feel impotent right now, don't dwell on it. Your awareness is very encouraging to us older guys.

Maybe, sometime in the near future, many of your friends will be too lazy to read the divorce petition because it's 'too long'. Then they might be asking you what the hell they can do about it. Hang on in there and watch your back!!

LOL, their ignorance and inability to recognize the "dire" position of men, will only become self-evident when it affects them personally and bites them hard in the ass. Ah, typical men!

So many men, fail to realise preemptive action now, could circumnavigate such horrendous circumstances unfolding, or at the very least - soothing the impact of a decision, made by a ideologically influenced and thus gynocentrically driven judiciary, goverment and court system.

Besides, maybe it's just me or I'm too idealistic, but shouldn't what we men do ultimately benefit the majority. That is, not just "women and children" but too allocate a percentage of our concern, to our fellow male.

Given the almost predictable echoing empty void, most men allocate for one another regarding empathy or indeed self-preservation, as this is usually bursting at the seems with "social cramming" of women and children concerns! No more room at the inn. Again!
