What does True Equality Mean to You?
What do you see as true equality? And, what is the best way to describe it to other people?
For example: True Equality is that all laws are race and gender-neutral, that women, nor men are treated favorably.
We're tired of feminists only care for the well being of women, while ignoring men's rights, and issues as if they don't exist.
- As much attention and support for Men's Issues, as women already receive.
- This means abolishing Affirmative Action (systematic discrimination against men).
- No, Train Coaches, and parking for women only.
- Equal treatment of husbands, and fathers in family courts.
- Gender Neutral Domestic Violence Laws.
- Equal Punishment for all criminals regardless of gender.
- Military Conscription for men and women.
- Ministry for Men if there's a Ministry for Women.
- Men's Sheters for male victims of domestic violence.
- Media coverage of male victims should be refered to as men, don't anonymize their sex.
- Ban Genital Mutilation, not just for women, but also men.
- stop conceiling male victims by the mass media.
- Recognition of Parental Alienation Syndrome.
- No preferential treatment of "Ladies First", that's just as discriminatory and wrong as e.g. "White People First".
- Same funding for male specific health issues such as prostate cancer which has same amount of victims as breast cancer (yet receives much lower funding).Last edited by Tyrael; 4th-October-2010 at 02:31 PM.

~ Everybody makes choices, and nobody should be entitled to special treatment because of those choices.
Equal results based on unequal treatment amounts to no kind of equality at all. ~

True Equality means equal RESPONSIBILITY!
Do not ever suppose that a small group of people can never change the world. INDEED it is the only thing that ever has.

Wife : "I dreamt they were auctioning off dicks. The big ones went for ten dollars and the thick ones went for twenty dollars."
Husband : "How about the ones like mine?"
Wife : "Those they gave away."
Husband : "I had a dream too...I dreamt they were auctioning off pussy. The pretty ones went for a thousand dollars, and the little tight ones went for two thousand."
Wife : "And how much for the ones like mine?"
Husband : "That's where they held the auction."

I don't believe in equality because it's nothing more than a communist myth that petty tyrants use to sucker ignorant people into voting for them.

Greed is for amateurs.
Knowledge without wisdom is a load of books on the back of an ass.
Scorn and mockery towards men in need is one of the reasons feminism is dying as we speak!.

Those are all extremely good points that I believe everyone on this board agrees with.- As much attention and support for Men's Issues, as women already receive.
- This means abolishing Affirmative Action (systematic discrimination against men).
- No, Train Coaches, and parking for women only.
- Equal treatment of husbands, and fathers in family courts.
- Gender Neutral Domestic Violence Laws.

- Ministry for Men if there's a Ministry for Women.
- Men's Sheters for male victims of domestic violence.
- Media coverage of male victims should be refered to as men, don't anonymize their sex.
I'm not sure if you mean circumcision by this. If so, I think it should be legal with consent. There's room for error here though... maybe you're idea is better.- Ban Genital Mutilation, not just for women, but also men.
THANK YOU SO MUCH! Those last 2 points have bothered me my whole life, and I wish everyone would realize this. I refuse to support any kind of breast cancer awareness until prostate cancer awareness is at the same level.- Stop conceiling male victims by the mass media.
- Recognition of Parental Alienation Syndrome.
- No preferential treatment of "Ladies First", that's just as discriminatory and wrong as e.g. "White People First".
- Same funding for male specific health issues such as prostate cancer which has same amount of victims as breast cancer (yet receives much lower funding).
Additionally, I think Father's Day should be considered just as big a holiday as Mother's Day, which, in most places, it is not.
I think Tyrael meant gender equality, but I can see where you're coming from.
People deserve equal opportunities, not equal outcomes. Is this how you want to go down?

Re: What does True Equality Mean to You?
As human beings, we should all share equal human rights. No special attention towards any group. If one person gets a certain rule, privilege or law, that should apply to everyone.
As a gender, we are not 100% equal. We share most of the human features but also have features that make us distinctively male or female.
I want us as humans to be more equal and not so damn egotistical. Everyone has a strength and weakness, so we aren't superior or inferior to anyone. We all have something that can contribute to humanity.
P.S As for breast cancer, males can get it too. Not so at risk like females but definitely worth giving attention to.
