My 13 year old son was a counselor in training at a week long camp for children ages 9-11 this summer. Even these kids that were counselors and couselors in training had to be given instruction regarding their interactions with the other children; things such as never entering a structure alone with one of the campers. It's sad that they can't just go and have fun. Even at 13 my son had to think about guarding his action and words to make sure nothing he said or did could be misconstrued as inappropriate.
