Oh dear... In my US History class today, my teacher had some mindboggling comments. We had a discussion about recent current events, and he brought up the historical first of the US having a female Speaker of the House. We eventually got to the disparity between female and male politicians. My teacher brought up the fact that women are over 50% of the population (get this: because males are 'biologically weaker' due to them dying in birth at higher rates ) yet only make up 16% of Congress. Surprisingly, he admits he thinks the gap is not due to prejudice, but because of women's choices and how he feels they aren't suited to politics. However, the reason they aren't suited is because "women solve problems by compromise and negotiation" while "men solve problems by fighting." In conclusion, he said women aren't in politics because it has becoming an atmosphere dominated by fighting, which apparently they are too fair and noble to do.Personally, I hate politicians and think they are a bunch of blood-sucking parasites, but nothing like a little misandry to start the day (History was my first class), eh? I lost a significant amount of respect for my teacher today (a shame really because with the exception of his feminist tendencies he is a great teacher). Cowhead- your teacher is in need of some serious medical information lol A History teacher is he? Sounds like he should head Sociology lessons to me Taype- Yes, the Conservatives are doing what ALL political parties do: Pander to women to get their votes They don't care about serving the country, they just want power and money It's a gender politics game that most people aren't aware of I'm afraid David Camerson will never help men by the way- despite the 'youth' of 'today' singing his praises (though they usually consist of upper-class 20-somethings who buy into misandry and have an unhealthy obsession with the plight of women in Afghanistan and the like lol) Sadly, such youths will probably end up voting for him in the end, as will women And all that will happen is men get even more rights stripped off them, as per usual David f u cking Cameron

I'm in Kansas myself and have been out of high school for 5 years. Out of college for 1. The college I went to didn't have many feminist overtones, besides a rape week and the Vagina Monolouges when it came to town. Though there was an editorial calling it useless and pointless. From what I hear from other people, it seems in the rural areas and smaller towns alot more conservative views abound. Once you get into larger cities and metrolpolis (sp?) then it turns staunchly liberal. New England has turned into what some call a Megacity. California has quite a few larger cities. Micihigan has places like Detroit. Go to Texas and there are some large cities, but alot of smaller rural areas. In Kansas there are 2 large cities (at least by the countries standards) Wichita and Kansas City. So if he is near a large city it may be why it differed from yours. Where are you from????

I live in Illinois, about half an hour away from Chicago. In a history class, I knew that I was going to have to deal with lots of feminism (because women were oppressed doncha know), but I was a bit taken aback by his comments today. Though I don't think feminism has quite infested by area yet, there are still many feminists living here (we're an upper-middle-class community). It's amazing how much crap people get away with saying.

Cowhead- just curious: Do any of your classmates know that you are an MRA? Are any of them likeminded? And, as I recall you saying a while back, do your parents still have issues with you being involved with MRA forums like this?

Wow, what a load of Marxist crap. This guy probably believes all the bull shit he's shoveling at you. wymyn, noble creatures??? Men weaker, and yet fighters at the same time? Pardon me while I puke. This guy needs to get his story straight. Yeah, Hillary Clinton is a real hero-whine... I won't even mention what a jew kiss ass Nancy Pelosi is...oops.:slap: Anyway Cowhead, you should not take this shit sitting down, point out to this Marxist indoctrinist that it was in fact Men who built this nation, and then stepped aside after it was nice and comfortable, to allow wymyn positions of power (which they have subsequently used and abused), and then ask him about the millions of Men who have been displaced from their careers since the fifties. He's supposed to be the history (more like HER story) teacher, have him explain what happened to all those men who were shoved aside and forgotten to make room for the sufferagettes... That oughta shut him up... for a little while at least Good Luck

I've just read one of the most awakening expressions by an extremely intelligent young man on this forum. Righteous indignation ensues. My word sir, you are growing amazingly as a morale creature. The likes of this young man are our future. We're in good hands. "If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. Hear Hear ! CD Hear Hear ! I hope more teenage+ men get learn the truth.
feminism is a disease the Doc is working on a cure. Symptoms include compulsive liar, constant aggression, allergic to logic, often affects women who are fat with short hair and big earings, but can be normal looking. Reason tablets three taken daily. If the sufferer displays shaming tactics double the dose. Remarkably the illness disappears in disaster zones.

I do have a few like-minded friends, and one has actually done a little activism of his own in class, but I don't feel really comfortable about getting most of my friends involved. I mean, how would I communicate to them the dangers of marriage when we are just sixteen years old (weird topic)? As for my parents, they still disprove of what I'm doing, but they've been a lot less strict over the past few months. They've accused me of going on these sites several times, but they probably have no idea how deep I'm involved. I feel no ill will towards them, and I probably gave them a bad rap when I first came on here. Like what has seemingly become the modern couple, my mother controls the household. Though she has used the term "woman-hater" unfairly to some people who dared to criticize women, she catches flak for choosing to stay at home and actually holds lots of antifeminist viewpoints. For example, she gave the Duke accuser a good chewing out while watching the 60-minute special on the case, she doesn't believe in Title IX, and she is anti-abortion. She does a lot of work around the house (seven kids) and is very fair about managing affairs with my father. She is actually what I'd call a "strong woman" (unlike the prototype feminists peddle out to the public). She can get a bit hysterical at times - she is completely paranoid about our safety when we leave the house even though Glenview has one of the lowest crime rates in the country (murders and kidnappings are extremely rare). But you have to take the ups and the downs. She is a good mother and I'm lucky to be in a stable household with a mother and a father - they get along well too and I highly doubt they'll become part of the divorce statistics.
