OK, so I'm new to this whole MRA thing. I've always hated the double standards in laws and so on, and have disagreed with the crap on TV for years. But now I've been reading MRA articles on the Internet, if I open up my own blog or something similar, I don't want to just repeat what everyone else is saying, so where exactly would I start doing my own research and debunking feminist crap? Any tips?

Observation would be the best start. Plus read as many feminist articles you can get your hands on. If you can quote countless feminist articles that back up your claim that say feminism is destroying the family or whatever (this is just an example of the top of my head) your article is much more likely to have impact. Basically just read as much as you can. Pick an area to specialise in (Work, Family, Sexism etc) and read as much as you can from both sides of the arguement and then from there you will have more of a chance of producing an article or blog that does not sound far fetched and that is easy to trust. Don't forget to cite your sources!

I suggest just going about your everyday life and taking note of all the instances where it can be noted that women are given preferrential treatment.. You will find areas no doubt that few others have made much of.. My own special area of interest is the strange phenonema of how mens groups seem to give women preferrential treatment and how this affects the outlook of the group severely.. I also find it interesting to note how very heavily society presumes that women are automatically entitled to ask and expect financial support and men are automatically expected to provide it in many situations where quite simply given gender reversal in the roles, the man would still be expected to sub the woman.. For example, travel expenses incurred as a result of child contact.. Mother removes the kids 100 miles away from dad, dad is still expected to pay for the privelidge of the contact expenses, even though mum is actually being subbed by the fact that dad has the kids while she is still being paid state benefits during the time she is not with them.. Given a reversal of the situation, it would not doubt be expected that a man who refused to help the mother with the expenses of visiting "her" kids would be a right bar steward.. Double standards in society are many and varied.. I recentlly noted today that my girlfriend is paying one third less for her band subscriptions than the men do.. Any reason for this? Simply, women dont have to pay as much.. Clear preferrential treatment.. Such things are rife.. Dating services charging men but not women, night clubs letting women push in the queues.. The list is endless..

Feminist Scum I'm sure Karl here would have some suggestions, you could browse this site's archives - there are some MRAs that have been at this for a while like Angry Harry - Men Going Their Own Way has a database of research that might give you some ideas - there are book review sites like Amazon where you could add your two cents (I'm new to this too, I'm sure veteran members here could capably advise you) Feminism = Fear + Flattery
