spell checker for your web browser

I noticed in the dating is dodgy thread that a few people wished this forum had a spell check feature

there is no need for the forum to have it as you can incorporate it into your web browser for free

Firefox ( the browser I use) has an inbuilt spell checker for when filling online forms such as these forums - it underlines in red the words that are mis-spelt and then by right clicking the word you are presented with alternatives. Also has a dictionary feature to add words to it - though It is based on US English rather than British English

also a free plug in called iespell does the same thing for internet explorer

I tried Firefox for a while. Several times it crashed in the middle of commercial transactions causing quite a bit of financial confusion with my credit card accounts and messing up purchases. I decided that I couldn't accept that level of unreliability on commercial transactions.

The Iespel sounds good. I'll give it a try.

Blessings

Bob

As much as I love firefox I have to agree with Bob here. Pretty much everyday it will shutdown for no reason. Also it doesn't seem to like .mov files or anything that uses quicktime. Crash city man.
