Men Supporting WomenÂ’s Right - a plan for three panels

WomenÂ’s political and social equality requires the concerted and coordinated efforts of women all over the world. But womenÂ’s achievement of these rights and the ability to enjoy them also requires the active support of men.

I propose three panels at the Beijing conference that will address the ways in which men can and should support womenÂ’s efforts at equality.

Each panel will consist of men from around the world who are active in developing ways for men to support womenÂ’s rights. Panels will be attended by both women and men.

Let me guess, is he one of those men that constantly berates men for being so 'mean' to women and for 'oppressing' them throughout history, and who says that we can become better men by changing into the type of men women want us to become, who tells us we need to 'redefine' masculinity and who puts all of the blame on all men for all of societies problems?
