The single issue approach..

I often wonder if the claims of some experienced folk that we would be more likely to make progress if we concentrated on one issue at a time holds much sway..

What would this one issue be?

Re: The single issue approach..

I think if we chose one it should be misandrous attitudes in society.

Once we get rid of the man=bad mantra that so many people claim to be truth the rest will be much easier to deal with.

If we get rid of misandry then judges and women will have no excuse to deny us rights.

If we get rid of misandry in the work place no one will be able to claim "Patriarchy" kept them from getting that promotion instead of their lack of merit.

And the list goes on.

Re: The single issue approach..

Wars call attention to multifarious targets. If one were to focus attention on a single issue that could cause the most damage to the enemy's war effort , I would go for the enemy's most powerful weapon and neuter it.

That is the LIE.

I would focus attention on Perjury; Deliberately Bearing False Witness.

Liars in Court should be prosecuted. Automatically.

Judges who permit lies to go unpunished should be charged with aiding and abetting the Perversion of Justice and hanged.

And not just in the Courts but in any research, publication, adverts, classroom, whatever. Whoever tells a lie should be jailed. Some who tell really damaging lies should be paraded aroung town in a tumbril before being publicly hanged.

A lie is bad. It is the tool of Evil, used to distort reality.

A Liar is a carrier of a disease. Eradicate the disease and the carriers.

That's not a bad idea. Problem with targeting many issues at once: a lack of energy and resources to address each issue with 100% of what we can give. Concentrating on one or two tasks at a time might indeed be an effective approach.

What I think needs priority: child custody issues.

A formidable task, yet necessary...but how do we go about changing the attitudes of so many people? What is the best (or most effective) approach?

Not entirely sure I agree with the public hangings, but I agree with you 100%...time to get TOUGH on people who destroy others' lives, tie up our court systems, and mock justice with their perjury!

Re: The single issue approach..

Give it time, TERA.

I have some alternatives;

Defenestration from the top of Ivory Towers for academics.

Simple beheadings with a sword.

FMJ headaches.

Wild horses attached to limbs.

Being left in a room with a sociologist counsellor. (the '2 birds' approach)

Re: The single issue approach..

I think perhaps the child custody one is interesting.

I think married couples should be assumed patriarchal, male head model applies, and ummarried couples matriachal, in other words, the woman and the state bullies are in charge, because no man has "claimed" the woman..

Thats my simplistic but pretty damned excellent (if I say so my self!) take on it..

Re: The single issue approach..

I think since it is clear that legally, the state heads families these days, the single issue that screams out to me as being the most deserving and logical outcome is this..

No state dictated child-support..

Because, it is clear that the state PAYS mothers (and others) to raise children, a great amount of money is invested by the state in children..

I also would suggest that fathers too are PAID to spend time with their kids.. (as they contribute hugely to child welfare)..

(This can replace current idea popularised by the state whereby fathers pay to NOT spend time with their kids!! Or just rot in bedsits or jail getting pissed off and suicidal..)

Of course, this is a system that will work in a highly statist society..

(Such as we have!!)

It is also like the system used in Scandinavian countries..

Take away the woman's right to vote, and everything goes back to being fine.

Re: The single issue approach..

Tera it really isn't that hard to end misandry. Men and women who can think clearly just need to quit tolerating it.

When they hear some one spreading misandry they need to call them on it. This process has worked wonders for me since I quit tolerating it.

The dirty lying feminists that my wife works with have quit spreading it in the presence of me or my wife because they know we can and will prove them wrong.

The lady at the video store no longer says all men are dogs in front of male customers any longer because after I called her on it in public some other men quit tolerating it as well. A
