HERE is a Sex ID test. Was quite entertaining to take it. My results are below:


A couple of comments. First, regarding the Empathisers. Notice the first sentence in the exmplanation: What does "responding appropriately" mean? Who decides these things? Needless to say, certain things are deemed appropriate in some cultures, while in others these same things are deemed inappropriate! Just because I answered that I don't get very emotional when watching films, doesn't mean that I'm not able to imagine myself in the guy's shoes. But it's still just a movie, so why make some big emotional deal out of it?

Also, I answered that I do find it easy to imagine how someone else must feel (empathise with them), but right at the next question I answered that I often don't undersand why some people react so emotional to trivial things (or something like that). Again, there really is nothing contradictory in these two answers - just because I wouldn't react emotionally to something, doesn't mean that I'm not able to empathise with this person. I just react differently. In other words, I don't have to cry (or whatever) too, to prove that I really feel for the guy.

Notice, that I scored 8 out of 10 points at faces test, which is supposed to mean:

...but in the first empathising test I scored badly, indicating, that I'm a numb apathetic man (I scored well below the average for men and/or women in the first Emapthise/Systemize test, while at the Eyes test I scored well above the average for men and/or women. But both tests are supposed to indicate how good at empathising one is)

This proves my theory, that basing judgement about empathy on reactions is flawed in itself. I can empathise with some person, but that doesn't mean that I must approve with his/her reactions to prove that I truly feel how (s)he feels. People react differently to the same things. On a similar note, in a dangerous situation, some people panic, others remain calm and act. That doesn't mean that the latter don't feel (just as, or even more) afraid. Or, some people get physical very quickly, while others tend to avoid such attacks - but that doesn't mean that the latter aren't (just as, or even more) pissed off.

At the end of the test, my migraine was kicking in, so I just picked any answer.
