Retard Amnda Marcotte Attempts to Deny the Obvious

In this post on her shit blog, talentless, spinster, whore Amanda Marcotte tries to refute an article written by a man who talks about how women want commitment/male attention and men want sex. Let's give a closer look to her bullshit

But what I really liked about this piece is how up front Zimmerman is about the reason that he believes that women should hold out on sex in exchange for commitment from men: because women are so fucking loathsome, that it’s ridiculous to even consider the idea that a man might choose their company for pleasure.

If you read enough of Amanda's work, you'll notice that she has a problem of projecting her own neurosis onto people who dare write thing that she disagrees with. Zimmerman does not say that women are too loathesome to be around, he doesn't say anything close. But Amanda was right that he suggested women should hold out on sex in exchange for commitment because the fact is that a great deal of men simply do not want commitment.

Basically, the gulf between men and women, in this worldview, is this: Male company is desirable, female company is repellent.

Not what he said, bitch. He said that women (and he was speaking generally here) desire male company and attention waaaaaaaaaay more than the reverse. Men, (again, generally speaking) desire women for sex but other than that have little interest in them as friends because they are so lame.

In fact, men are so wonderful, perfect, and amazing that women will vie for their attention, even if it’s insincere and condescending...

This is a fact! Go to any club, any college, any highschool, hell, any fucking middle school and you will see that women are obsessed with getting male attention. Women are even obsessed with getting attention from men that they aren't even interested in. I don't doubt that there are some (usually Feminist) women who aren't interested in attention from guys, but they are a decided minority. Most girls/women are obsessed with getting attention from the opposite sex.

They can pretend to like you to your face while trying to get you in bed while mocking you to your friends, and you’ll be eager to suck it up

Finally, something I can agree with!

It has nothing to do with superiority and everything to do with the fact that many men simply don't desire relationships, certainly not as intensly as women do.

That's actually a decent analogy from a normally talentless writer. And it's fairly accurate.

Of course not, because everybody knows that what women think is meaningless whereas even Feminists know that what men think is all important.

The problem is that most women aren't pleasant enough to be around, I guess. I mean, if you don't price gauge sex as a woman, you must have a pleasant personality, humour or something to base the relationship on.

I agree that many men, particulalry the young, barely-men, and the self-undervaluing man may be as you describe, there are many, many other adult men who have a strong and accurate sense of their own value and demand that being 'friends', at least, comes before sex. No woman can share my intimacy until she knows me well and I know her well. I do not have sex with 'lame' women. Why on earth would I? There are plently of women who are far from lame, indeed exciting and interesting women who can make very good friends.

I find alot of men fun to talk to, although I do have some awesome female friends at college; and yes, they ARE fucking weirded out by the current state of the women's rights movement

You can talk with men about anything, women not always. Case in point: the conversations I have with my parents. I find I have a better comfort zone when talking to my dad, than I do with my mom to be honest.

I dont think women are unpleasant to be around, but generally women want to be in a relationship whereas guys are cool with being single. If a woman wants to be in a relationship, it makes sense for her to hold out on sex until then. If she gives it away for free, there is less incentive for a guy to want to be with her. That's all Zimmerman was saying.
