I came across this by accident and dug into it a bit.

Bonobo Monkeys...AKA Pygmy Chimpanzees.

They are Female dominated.

They have sex constantly, many, many, many times per day as a conflict suppression tactic.

In any way you can imagine.

Accidentally bump into another monkey? Don't scowl or fight...just have sex. Food shows up in the Zoo? => All the males become very aroused since you cannot divvy up the food until you first have sex. Hear a loud noise in the distance? Quick, everybody have sex with whoever is nearby. A new monkey shows up? Quick everyone have sex with him or her to get to know them. Of course it only lasts 13 seconds and they recharge quickly so that they can do it many times per hour. It's pretty amazing. I wonder if this is what the Feminists thought would happen.

QUESTION: What would a Bonobo-like human country do if they had to compete with other countries economically. What if they got invaded? What then? Make out with each other?

I think the Bonono society is a dead end and cannot thrive. Look at how much better other primates have done, such as Chimps and Humans.

I remember reading a book called "Oryx and Crake" where a geneticist creates a new "perfect" race of humans that were feminized, vegitarian, had group sex so as to not leave anyone out, and were designed to eat their own shit, so they would not have to rely on the Earth's natural resources.

Now before you comment, I'm going to add that I don't believe Atwood views this as the perfect soloution, she leaves many hints that this society would fall as well. The mad scientist that created these beings wiped out all the other humans in a plague. It's a good book. I suggest checking it out.

Another Bonobo fact. While they are having all of that sex they are not overly concerned whether they are luvin up on a same gender Bonobo or not.

In fact the head male is often taken by his buddies to calm him down during male rivalry spats. "Oh no Jim is pissed again someone go make love to hime quick."

And yes I think that Bonobo society is precisely what feminists want. They would have all of the authority with no responsibility while the males are left to with no identity or self respect to speak of.

The draw backs are similar to what we face now though. It would just take one little microbe that is lethal and sexually transmitted to wipe out the Bonobo society.

Aids anyone. If things were as they ought to be and people were responsible as they were in the past Aids would not be an epidemic.

Folks...feminists especially...this is an example of a doomed, unsuccessful society. They cannot grow or invent things. If this stresses them out they can just grab the nearest Bonomo for 13 seconds and all is well.

If the feminists want a society like this it would be fairly easy to create. Simply pass a law saying that any woman has to have sex with any man that asks her right there and then. This would eliminate competition between males as it does in Bonobo society. Of course were this the case then all men would simply bum around, not bother getting jobs, scraping together the bare minimum to survive by whatever means and then screwing the rest of the time. At least that is undoubtedly what I would do.

How we would maintain any amount of above-stone-age-level technology or social development under such a system is a question that doesnt survive the asking.

I've read that the Bonobo society are damn cruel when they do get violent... generally towards males only, shockingly enough.
