I have no doubt that special interest groups exaggerate statistics to favor their cause. But as one reader pointed out, the author did some funny math of his/her own.

For those with a literary and intellectual bent, the latest edition of the 'Quadrant' journal (May 2007), an Australian publication, has an account of the Origins of Amnesty International written by Claudio Veliz who was in at the very start. It was a Communist front organisation set up to get Communist prisoners out of Spanish jails after the Franco war. They used the fact that there were a few Freemasons in jail too that enabled the newly minted AI to appear to represent all comers but the Comintern backers were only interested in their own.

It is not surprising that Amnesty International backs feminism.

As we read and learn we might wonder what the do-gooders, including international aid agencies are all about.

Here in SE Asia I looked into possible grants for native tribes to further their development. The 'Canada Fund' in particular was strong on "the special position of women". No surprises there.

They said that one in four women is raped in her lifetime, not one if four women every year. If 95,000 raped occurred in one year and you take the feminist statistic of 60% going unreported then there are actually 237,500 rapes per year. So over a ten year period 2,375,000 women are raped (Of course the maths is already faulty as the same woman can be raped more than once but then remember those who come up with this are women) so over the average woman's lifespan of about 75 (I think its that) 17,812,500 women get raped. You will note this is still only 11.875%, well under the vaunted one in four. (yes i know the first and last years of life can be safely discounted but do you really think whoever came up with 1 in 4 was going to give up the extra rapes?)

Well, I'm sorry guys, I did my best but my mathematics just isn't up to the same standard as the feminists. If anyone knows where we can get an extra 13.125% to make up the numbers then we will have cracked this sucker!

There is that situation on a date when she says "No, stop it" and he says "C'mon baby" and then they have sex, I think that's counted as a rape to make the 1/4 statistic.

I have been a rapist most of my life, but I am handsome and always apologise afterwards so they let me off and consider it "passionate love"..

And on the other hand, you can always just kill them if you suspect they are going to complain..

Often, the women forget what happened, usually the case after you put their head under the wheel of your 4 litre SUV and drive over it..

Lets face it lads, its like, no fun if they actually WANT sex is it?

If they are giving it away easy, it aint worth much is it?

So, not an actual rape then.. he didn't force himself, he didn't drug her up, he didn't beat her senseless... he did what women are good at; he nagged.
