I thought it was cute; they're both adorable.

Gender differences are definitely inherent, but I think being greedy b****** is learned not innate. Little girls and little boys are very different, but one thing they have in common is that they're both sweet and innocent.

One thing I've noticed, having had both a boy and two girls: when they were much younger, the girls would lie as if it was nothing, but my son never did.

I always found that rather odd...and then women I knew in the homeschool group and in other parenting groups told me their kids did the same!

Girls also scream a lot, to get attention, and my son never did that.

I still think the females lying goes back to the Garden of Eden, when Eve added something to what G-d had told the two of them: "G-d said not to eat OR EVEN TOUCH IT" (Genesis.)

Oddly, i noticed this about lying too - not in my kids (one is too young to talk, let alone lie, the others were brought up with very high standards about lying), but women in my life (e.g. ex wife) would lie (daily) as if it were perfectly natural... she seemed to see no harm in herself or that animal mother of hers lying through their teeth.

I never quite understood how they could be that way.

I agree that there are basic, biologically driven traits that distinguish the mental and emotional states of boys and girls. I agree with the premise of this posting. But that video... somehow I think it's just a coincidence that these two kids confirmed our expectations. My own son, when he was 1 or 2 years old, would have laid the smack down on that girl. He would have either fought for that lost toy like his life depended on it, or he would have punished her somehow... To compensate, I just had to persistently tell him that hitting other kids is not acceptable. That was nurture, in my case.

None of my kids lies now, that was a brief phase I saw the girls go through back when they were (I think) 3 or 4 or so. But the thing is, my son never went through it!

Women lie with such conviction, that sometimes I actually believe they believe their own lies. I've caught many women in the act of doing something wrong, red handed so to speak, and they've still lied!!

Oh, I know you did, Rebadow. That's how I took it. Like I said, I thought it was really cute. I was just kind of going off on my own little tangent there concerning inherent differences and such.
