Open Question: To what end will men suffer in the name of equality?

In Mexico if a man suspects his wife is cheating on him and the thought of sex disgusts him he can be arrested for "domestic abuse". But wives can still beat, maim, emotionally abuse and use sex to blackmail their husbands. In the UK and India if a man merely speaks his mind( questions any female relative or non relative, or defends himself from verbal/ emotional abuse) he can be arrested for "domestic abuse". Yet women are given free reign to yell, assault and emotionally batter men. In Sweden hate speech and state sponsored emotional abuse towards men is not only acceptable but the status qua how is this equality? In the US when wives can murder , beat, emotionally abuse their husbands how is this Equality? When nations set out to teach teachers to ignore the needs of their male students how is this equality? When "Equality" becomes code word for misandry and female supremacy what recourse is their left?
