Open Question: Is it true that men's earnings is spent on women and women's earnings are spent on themselves?

You never see valentine ads for women to buy men things and also men outspend women on valentines day by double. In nightclubs men buy women drinks, in restaurants men are expected to buy all the meals. But yet if you look at the economic side of retail women WAY outspend men in almost every area of the markets. So women pamper themselves but men pamper women?Some will say women give sex as payment but that's being a hooker but also sex is as much for her as it is for him, so it's not a gift per say.Is this right? Is this equality?
