Open Question: Is this supposed to be equality?
From Yahoo Answers
Yeah.......is this "equality"? A woman, has the options of aborting her child, while the man doesn't. The woman, who, knowingly puts herself into a responsibility which she should be carrying out, is allowed to remove her responsibility. OK. But, the thing is, she was responsible, for her being in such a situation. See? Her body, HER responsibility, and its only then that she gets HER choice. So, abortion as a choice of your own body would mean that the complete responsibility of the sex was taken by the woman. It means so, because she allowed no say of her husband, now did she? I can't understand the equality at all in here. Let me rephrase the question in short:- How come women, who know they will get pregnant by having sex, can have abortions, while a man, who knows he can get his wife pregnant, can't cut his legal rights and responsibilities over his child? Yeah, and people who are gonna answer saying that the man or the woman should have kept his pants on/shouldn't have spread the sperms, or closed their legs are a big pile of dumbasses who can't even understand this question. For such people, please read the question again till you understand your brain well. Trevor:- Till a "feminist" gives a logical answer. I know its difficult to even expect it, but.....I am hoping the logical answer will come.... Dark eyes:- I have no problem with that. Its their choice, and lets face it; women like sex as much as men do.
