The quote is an attempt at satire. Not a particularly good one; but the writer (libertarian, Christian, patriot gun-owner) probably enjoyed him/herself by stuffing a load of extreme but plausible ideas into one paragraph.

As for submitting to the state...... It's too late to be asking that.

We must submit to "the state".. The state will kill whoever doesnt submit.. Its as simple as that.. And if some folks rise up and "beat the state", those folks become the new state.. and they will do exactly the same..

So, what do we do?

Box clever, and get out of the boxes and stop being shuffled around by the state farmers of the human cattle..

The mens movement, and many other "special groups" seem to be forever seeking to self contain within highly limiting ideals and fantasies..

Even the state giving permission for men to have forums like this, is a form of containment that we submit to..

The state, can learn, where it is needed and useful, but as long as WE keep feeding that beast, its desire to control more and more will just keep growing..

Ultimately, the people have to decide if they prefer to be sheep, or wild bores..

One never submits to the state - (unless one lives in a totalitarian state) one enters into a "social contract". We agree not be violent against one another and give the state a monopoly of violence in return for xy or z. This has been the political philosophy behinnd the state since the late reniassance and Thomas Hobbes and John Locke and JJ Rousseau. It is upon such a social contract that the state claims its power over us.

But at any point we can "step outside"the state, and if necessary bear arms against it. This is not in a revolutionary context, but in a self defense concept. The US Constitution allows citizens to bear arms BECAUSE the underlying presumption of the US Constitution is that the state is not good.

Even Machivelli sadi that the price of democracy is constant vigillance.

So if necessary yes, one has the right NOT to obey the state.

Indeed, Anglo Saxon countires are blessed with Common Law which gives citizens a lot of rights in this area

Common law is inaccessible. It has been buried by the state.. Try using it in a common law court.. Oh, shit, there arent any..

Everything is impossible - until you learn how to fight.

Hell, one guy even tells you how you can avoid paying your credit card bills, as there is legally, no bill to pay!

Oh felix, felix. How I wish I could meet you and give you a lesson in political philosohpy and theory. JJ Rousseau over 200 years wrote "Man is born free, yet everywhere he is in chains".

The modern era of freedom began with the British revolution and then found it highest expression in the French revolution.
We are born into bondage, but all the time we are fighting - and all the time we psuh forward the boundaries of freedom. A few hundred years ago we had NO RIGHTS at all - we were serfs and then things began to change. That revoution continues to this day.

Do you really expect justice in a court? Look at the Birmingham 4, the angry brigade, etc, etc. Yet we question things. Look at Anonymous - a few months ago something wonderful was acheived - we blokced ACTA. And While CISPA is coming up, massive new alliances are - TODAY forming (yes check RT news for the latest news on the anti CISPA alliance).

Yes, we fight, many of us lose. It is a battle. Not all of us make it. But each one of use demolished a little brick in that wall that stops us from being free, each of us contributes something to the cause.

Thats the link to his full story - also a father fighting for his rights - and thats how he got into the freeman movement. He talks somewhere about not having to pay credit card bills, as you have never agreed to pay it. BUT i am not 100% sure if he talks about this in this link as I did not reference everything he says, but I think he does. Look about 50 mintues into the video "chaper 11" "Notices"

He has wonderful concepts - he explains why you should avoid giving your kid a birth certificate - as by doing so you have "abandoned" your kid to the state - it links into the ideas of the "straw man"
