My relative owns apartments and has a lot of trouble with black renters not paying on time or not paying for months on end. Should she simply reject applications from blacks? Do you think racial profiling is wrong if in the majority of instances blacks are likely to be difficult tenants?My relative is very vocal about this issue but I have always been of a more level headed "equality first" type of viewpoint. However, after reviewing the problems she has head I am wondering if their is some truth to her gripe. Credit scores are based on likelihood of defaults at a certain score, should skin color fit into that?
