Open Question: Is it me, or does feminism have this subtle undertone of misandry?
From Yahoo Answers
I think feminism creates an "us vs. them" mentality in the minds of women. This leads to broad stereotyping of men as aggressive, sex-crazed, violent, etc. This is no more the case than saying all women are obsessed with looks, think with their heart, are overly emotional, can't do math and science, etc. Am I correct in my perception of feminism as mean and divisive? They act like being male is one big bed of roses. In fact I have a disease called Asperger Disorder which makes it near impossible to get laid since in America the male has to take the initiative and it makes me really shy. Being Asperger and female is a non-issue because things come to women when they look good. I would rather be a girl because I'm so shy and shy guys have it the WORST. or maybe if i lived in Germany where most of the guys have Asperger's (Hitler had it), I wouldn't be so different from the norm. I mean think about it: those Germans come up with the best technology ever, they're smart as hell, yet terribly awkward. Very Aspie profile.

Playing fast and loose with the word "subtle" methinks.
And as a sidenote, many women love a shy guy, particularly the attention seeker type, meaning she gets all the limelight while her shy man barely utters a word, taking no shine from her.Hugh & Mary Discuss Feminist Related Issues (ALL SUBTITLED): http://www.youtube.com/view_play_lis...0081D259987DCD
