My answer: Because they don't know what they want.

It's a ruse. They do not want equality. They want superiority and domination. They only way they can get that is for us men to lower our standards of manhood. They get us to do that by claiming to be victims, getting us to feel sorry for them, and getting us to give them whatever they demand.

They say they want equality because that sounds better than saying that they want special treatment. In reality they want special treatment which is why they rarely speak out when they have the upper hand over men but are sure to speak out when they don't.

They are quick to cash in their pussy pass in a family courtroom, job interview, dv call, criminal courtroom, etc...

Women's selective equality is enabled by men. We need to stop funding what so ails us!

Not only is it because women don't know what they want, but also because all these centuries they have been spoiled from being protected from the harsh realities from life and have life given to them effortlessly. Prior to feminism, women were thought to be weak, emotional, indecisive, illogical, fearful, and delicate (like children so to speak), so they were not expected to be taken seriously or take responsibility for themselves. It backfired when feminism wanted the benefits, but none of the responsibilities or work to fully deserve 'equal treatment' (if they did, the movement would have been short-lived)--feminism lied about being equal and wanted it 'have it all,' to the point that women have more power than men. This results in disaster in all areas of society--unfair treatment from antagonistic women and courts, unfair education from schools, unfair treatment from laws, and double standards and hypocrisy from feminism, to name a few. It weakens society and makes everyone suffer in mediocrity and stagnation because things have to meet women's needs and standards. Very little progress and advancement is made for everyone else--except for women, but ultimately this lack of progress will catch up to them and would truly serve them little in the end.

Women were never equal, they always had the upper hand. For women to have equality they would have to give up their protected status but we see that all they really wanted to do was get more protection to the point that they oppressed men with laws like VAWA and entitlement programs to help them get ahead of men in every area of society (except the dangerous ones of course). Remember, both men and women look out for the best interests of women and that is the problem we have always had but today it's amplified thanks to feminism.

To be fair, a movement seeking equal treatment need not be so short lived. Various egalitarian movements have survived, most notably being the American (USA) revolutionists, whose movement only really saw itself dwindling in the face of feminism. Suffragettes (in the UK, at least) campaigned for equality with men in many areas (notably excluding going to war) and their literature included equal criminal sentencing for women and concepts such as 'equal responsibility and authority.' The suffragette movement lasted a number of years, even generations, and some countries have egalitarian associations with direct lineage to suffragette societies. (To be clear about this: the feminist movement has no link to suffragettes; the feminist claim to have gained women the vote is totally bogus.)

Of all the most transparent things about feminism that is so obnoxious, the demand to 'have it all' has to stand out as being one of the most obviously damaging. There is nothing equal in creating a gender war to enable 'your side' to have it all. There is nothing admirable about it. Men should get out of the system and take a cash job if they can. That would help since income taxes aren't optional otherwise. Still leaves you with sales tax and property tax.

It's like when daddy pays child alimony and mommy goes out and buys drugs with it, no one would blame daddy for enabler her because child alimony isn't optional.

It depends what you mean by equality. I believe equality to mean 'choice'. Others believe equality to mean equal representation in parliament, in higher business etc. That's not my idea of equality.

Feminists have no interest in equality, none whatsoever, they seek to control men and women.

Women want special treatment because they're used to it and want more. Shot themselves in the foot when they allowed feminists to speak on their behalf because they believed the bullshit notion that today's feminists care about them. Why should men give women special treatment when men are discriminated against and the average woman does nothing to stop it.
