Open Question: If Patriarchy means "the rule of fathers", how is feminism not an attack on fatherhood and males in general?
From Yahoo Answers
When feminists ask the question "Are Men Necessary", what they are really saying is that fathers aren't necessary, and because women are independent from men they don't need fathers for their children and men in society in general. This is obviously false because women as a group need men, men as a group need men, and children as a group need men as well.
