Especially when organizations within that movement constantly look for ways to make itself relevant in today's society. And when the only way you can remain relevant is by seeking out negativity. And let's not forget the animosity left in its wake.@Dark Eyes- Perhaps you don't understand. You cannot promote one gender and expect animosity to not intensify. Everything you have JUST described has been available to women for a long time now. Now tell me where the relevance and equality part comes in.

It is important that, beyond legal equality, we not promote equality between men and women, or among people in general. Equality, which means equal outcomes regardless of a demographic group's abilities or interests, is social marxism. All men and women were NOT created equal, or, if you prefer, did NOT evolve equally. Equality is an unattainable goal that sends society into bitter chaos. It is as unattainable as wiping out poverty, ending racism, or stopping all wars.Especially when organizations within that movement constantly look for ways to make itself relevant in today's society. What people need to focus on is FAIRNESS & EQUAL OPPORTUNITY. Things which are equal will be so. Things which are not, will not be so. In order to force two unequal groups to perform equally, the stronger group will have to be weakened. Doing that, weakens and hurts everyone. As a case in point, with women's integration into the US military, including service academies, physical fitness and training standards were lowered so that women could "compete" with men.Last edited by Dylan MacVillain; 17th-February-2010 at 03:26 AM.
