Open Question: Do you think that feminism has also helped men?

    From Yahoo Answers
For instance men used to be expected to sacrifice so much, even his life, for women. And he was expected to be a wage slave for his wife and kids. Now thanks to feminism it's not "Women and children first"

The question should not be, "do you think that feminism has also helped men?", but rather, "do you think that feminism has also NOT helped WOMEN"?

Now thanks to feminism it's not "Women and children first"

Indeed not; more, "women and children ONLY"......

    Good eye!

On the flip side though, men are no longer expected to do anything....

Re: Open Question: Do you think that feminism has also helped men?

Its the lazy mans dream come true..

I have always maintained that feminism hurts the following the most:-

    Children (espeically the unborn)
    Women
    Men

Why do I think it hurts women more than men?

    Think about it..
    "Women...
    ,,,

They are so willing to respect other men but the man they make love to and is the father of their children –no way. They try to control him, criticize him,,, " Courtney www.womenlivingwell.org
