[quote] I'll leave it open for both positive and negative here. The only request is that we stick with *individuals* and not make this a feminism/anti/nonfeminism battle, you know? Was there anyone of the opposite sex in your life who made an impact on you that *changed* how you felt about the opposite sex overall, whether positive or negative? If you'd share the story, that'd be awesome. GHS - I'm mixed, white and latina. Can I ask what made you start wondering? Triumph - How many actual 'relationships' have you had? Just a few or this has happened often even with many relationships? Nice, there's much more positivity than negativity, but still leaving the door open for the ones who need purge a little ^5 Trevor - Thanks, and touching story. Strange twist with the psychiatrist, wow. Bittersweet ending with your Dad, happy you two were able to share that moment

Some people are incapable of changing their minds about anything.

They probably tell themselves they're wiser than the average person.

Maybe they are.

Maybe they're not....

"Civilization can only revive when there shall come into being in a number of individuals a new tone of mind, independent of the prevalent one among the crowds, and in opposition to it- a tone of mind which will gradually win influence over the collective one, and in the end determine its character. Only an ethical movement can rescue us from barbarism, and the ethical comes into existence only in individuals."

Changing your mind is easy, and women seem to do it far better than men!

I am always open to be persuaded to change my mind, it would be nice to actually find a woman that can live up to her claims, and especially the "we are not all like that" one!!

Fact is, you cant go far wrong to just watch them and see the way they consistently behave in the expected manner..

Its not a matter of "if" its a matter of "when"..

Of course, this is by no means gender specific.. Men are probably almost as likely to say one thing and do another!!

But, thats what men have to do, because women cannot tolerate the truth!

Of course they can't, that's why they had to jump up and down while throwing mass tantrums to get what they want!
They still aren't satisfied and it's inexcusably PATHETIC!!!!

When's the last time you actually saw a grown woman "jump up and down throwing a mass tantrum"? Do tell us about it!

Honest to God... I saw this with my very own eyes onl a few short years ago. We're divorced now.

Out of the gloom a voice spake unto me. 'Smile and be happy, Things could get worse."
So I smiled and was happy, and behold... Things did get worse.

Lets start with Andrea (The Walrus) Dworkin and lets not forget about the stupid whore right here in North Carolina who tried to cry rape and get paid! What about that bloated hog Rosie O'Donnell?
Oh yeah, women are known to throw mass tantrums when their pathetic plans don't pan out the way they want it!
What about that obnoxious harpy, Nancy Grace?
Do you remember the shit fest she put on television when she heard of the Duke rape case?
DO YOU?
