Re: My dilemma with Kim
Long story, not very interesting really. Low self-esteem and low finances for many years. I've met a few women that might have been suitable, but either I wasn't ready or she wasn't
As a musician I was always attracted to beauty, but many physically beautiful women are not beautiful on the inside, or even especially interesting
My dating history was full of confusion, compounded by the problem of women being unable to explain themselves. Most of the truths about females I have learned over the years have come from men; women are poor communicators when it comes to clarifying what goes on in their brains. You have to watch their behaviour, and translate their speech into something understandable, because they usually can't or won't themselves.
And this 'equality' stuff doesn't seem to apply to romance. In spite of all the changes in work and law, the woman still expects the man to initiate while she sits back and judges his prospects. With sexual harassment laws the way they are now, I could end up in jail for a gesture or comment that would have been normal forty years ago.
And I'm an idealist. I'm looking for more than a sex partner. Someone who actually understands and cares about me, the boy-man inside. It seems no closer than when I was a pimply adolescent decades ago.Feminism = Fear + Flattery

Re: My dilemma with Kim
women are poor communicators
hahahaha. Ain't that a fact.
But no, seriously. They are expert communicators, mediators, conflict resolvers, concilliators, persuaders. They tell us all the time. Don't you believe them?
And manipulators, coercers, liars. Believe that then.
Cum dilectione hominum et odio vitiorum
Love the Sinner but not the Sin.
(St. Augustine)
“ For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. “
(and within ourselves)
(Ephesians 6:12 (KJV)
A Feminist is a human being who has lost her way and turned vicious.
If you meet one on the road as you Go your Own Way,
offer kindness but keep your sword drawn.

Re: My dilemma with Kim
Billy, I think I need to find a different way to communicate. That is for sure.
I don't hear the word ho much. It isn't a word that is used in my circles. But by all means if it works for an MRA, use it.
All that matters is change. Doesn't it?
Or is there more to it?
Calling me a ho is .... well, I guess I should jump up and down over it
but I have a different interpretation for it. I think a ho is a prostitute. Or it may be a stripper. Playboy is a big funder for men's prostate cancer.
I don't know how much more support MRA are expecting from donations from companies but I do know calling all women who are not anti feminists hos could upset a thing or two.
But it is your call.

Re: My dilemma with Kim
Musicians are artists IMO. I guess they understand beauty. I think they have to.
lol, very sad but very true.My dating history was full of confusion, compounded by the problem of women being unable to explain themselves. Most of the truths about females I have learned over the years have come from men; women are poor communicators when it comes to clarifying what goes on in their brains. You have to watch their behaviour, and translate their speech into something understandable, because they usually can't or won't themselves.
It isn't accepted in some generations. I think the young ones are getting the hang of it slowly. Both my sons get asked out and even picked up at the door by females. They don't see women dating as many men less in one respect and more in the other from what I hear. And this 'equality' stuff doesn't seem to apply to romance.
This needs to change. With sexual harassment laws the way they are now, I could end up in jail for a gesture or comment that would have been normal forty years ago.
I understand what you are saying. Thank-you for sharing this. And I'm an idealist. I'm looking for more than a sex partner. Someone who actually understands and cares about me, the boy-man inside. It seems no closer than when I was a pimply adolescent decades ago.

Re: My dilemma with Kim
Even farther down south, where the ice is cheaper
The gun is less special and a family much deeper
But then for the man as a hunter survival is sweet
The gun is his mate, the hunted is money and meat
But every man has his needs that a prize can not give
And before he knows it, on the chain gang he lives
To toil away for a life less fulfilling
As he dreams of the time when he was back out killin'
But the children grow up and dads just the best
And he sits rockin in his chair, his old bones need the rest
And he tells of his life to his grand kids and friends
And he knows that his life had purpose and end
The hunter goes down to the earth as one man
But lives for generations to come through the rest of his clan

Re: My dilemma with Kim
This is fun!
ya I heard of the south,
where they drag dudes behind trucks
and there's no education
except for mind fucks
but i feel that bit about
the american dream
but when you come from the hood
it's hard to rise w/ the cream
we live day to day
off of capers and schemes
but the rage in the hood
has gotta burst at the seams
cuz whenever it's hot
that's when homies get shot
dudes get put on the spot
out on a cali block
but as long as the denali's still rock
deathrow and tupac
we don't give a fuck
what you say that you got
see I come from the spot
where we first popped collas
never sold the fuck out
for millions of dollas
young thugs and og's
out to get some respect
you thought the riots were bad
but you ain't seen shit yet
the melting pot is boiling over
and their ain't enough salt to toss over your shoulder
the friends that I left just wanna get older
cuz no matter how young, when it's over it's over]
but see, my hood's your hood,
cuz every hood's the same
crack, weed, and snitches
and all these muthafuckas get caught up in the game
don't realize it's a government trap
when was the last time they cared when a poor man got clapped?
Or don't stop to think,
they sell death to the communitty(sp)
they're just lookin to come up
I'm lookin for unity.

Re: My dilemma with Kim
Muay_Thai_MRA, what you wrote is just awesome.
A new generation has a arisen from the destruction and pain
Some fear it's position while some look for gain
They call it the 'Y' generation which is funny for sure
Cause the feminists think the 'X' has the power of it all
We are way off topic now.
