It's the same with "wimmin's tennis", paid the same as males for playing 5 games while the priviledged princesses get paid the same for playing 2..

Typical, they want it all without the effort and still bitch and moan.

Women cant play tennis as well as men, they would not have a chance competing as "equals"..

However, I like to watch women play tennis, I have the hots for the Williams sisters..

For that reason alone, market forces dicate that they will get equal pay in my book!!

But, It aint really about the tennis is it?

Talking of tennis, a row has exploded in Australia today at the Tennis thingo in Melbourne. Two things in fact.

The first is an outcry at the 'sexism' of a commentaor chap. The camera focused on one of the Williams women's bums, in very tight white shorts. He said something along the lines of "and the sights here are marvellous". Now I would hear that as a compliment but it has been taken as an insult. Personally I would have said, "Jeez, what a fat arse", myself, as the Williams's are overwight and fat-arsed even if fit.

The second, at a match between someone foriegn and another foreigner, a fight broke out with some Greek yobs in the spectator crowd. A bit of pushing and shoving. A male and a female police pair went to break it up. The woman cop pulled out a capsicum spray, sprayed a bloke and turned and ran away, leaving her male partner to get the fury of all the blokes around on his head.

No commentator on the news even mentioned her spraying and running even though we could all see it plainly. Her action made the matter a lot worse than it was. She in fact made no attempt at an arrest but just assaulted a man with the spray and ran away.
