    My Anti-Feminist Poem

    Personal Autonomy

    Like the Woman in Chains

    We sold ourselves to personal delusion

    But the one thing I seek

    Is personal autonomy

    Not from the perceived enemy

    But from the real threat

    The ones whose power I suffer for

    The hands that dig the grave

    I do not hate

    I do not scream

    I have an understanding of reality

    I'll be sexy by choice

    Choose my line of work

    Think how I want

    Do not blame my "enemy"

    I've authored my life story

    Don't label my accomplishments

    You're only going to embarrass me

    It's only a first

    If that's what you make it to be

    Success is created

    Not given

    Try and hand me a fake inspiration

    I'll keep loving Roland, Thomas, Peter, Robert, and Roberto

    They shaped my world and mind

    What can your pseudo empowered prove?

    Thomas redefined a genre

    Peter and Roland went their own ways and been to hell and back

    Robert is sad and happy like nobody else

    Roberto gives us so much to learn

    Can't you see?

    Like Roland and Mr. Pessimisster,

    We have no common ground.

    You'll never get me!
    RIP "Lyle Stevik"

    Well done PMT, although I know not of the names you have mentioned here, it is clear to see that you are not only standing up against the femanazis but all though showing that you have your own mind and that you are not one on the mindless sheepoles that follow the femanazis lock step into a cold, lonely and loveless death.
    When the femanazis tell me it's their way or the highway I tell them to fuck off and die, because at lest the highway leads to new and intresting places, their ways is a dead end.

    Very nice, PMT. Are the names you mentioned famous men, men you have known personally, or some combination?

    nice note to end on , mon frere
    I believe PMT is votre soeur rather than votre frère, unless you are using "brother" in a sexually neutral way, like the way Valentine Michael Smith called Gillian Boardman his "water brother." - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strange...and#Characters

    Nice one Pokey.

    I turn my hand to poetry m'self, sometimes, although I claim no especial gift.

    Our messages are personal as well as general. But let them ring out !

    Cum dilectione hominum et odio vitiorum
    Love the Sinner but not the Sin.
    (St. Augustine)

    For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,
    against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. “
    (and within ourselves)
    (Ephesians 6:12 (KJV)

    A Feminist is a human being who has lost her way and turned vicious.
    If you meet one on the road as you Go your Own Way,
    offer kindness but keep your sword drawn.
    (Me)

    They're famous men

    Thomas = Thomas Dolby
    Peter = Peter Schilling
    Robert = Robert Smith
    Roland = Roland Orzabal
    Roberto = Roberto Benigni

    I actually had a crush on Roland Orzabal when I was about 12, 13 years old. I've been a fan of 3 of these guys since I was 11, and I played the shit out of Songs From the Big Chair in Grade 7. Still a favorite of mine 7 years later!

    There are 2 Tears for Fears references in this poem, and the first was pulling at my brain cells for weeks.
