The male victims of domestic violence
Men experiencing domestic violence is rarely reported.
But according to the government and various voluntary agencies there has been a dramatic increase in the number of calls received by men who claim to be suffering physical and mental abuse at home.
Last week, BBC News Online and BBC Radio Ulster broadcast moving and very dramatic stories of women who have suffered physical violence at the hands of men. But what about men who suffer at the hands of women?

Support worker, Maxine McCutheon says domestic violence against men needs to be recognised more by the government.She says men also need refuges where they can go and facilities that can help them with for instance legal aid.S E R V I C E W I T H A S M I L E

It's a move in the right direction, at least someone acknowledges that all men aren't perpetrators

...wonders never cease the BBC admiting men are victims too!
LLets hope they have more balanced reporting from now on.#They have much catching up to do.feminism is a disease the Doc is working on a cure. Symptoms include compulsive liar, constant aggression, allergic to logic, often affects women who are fat with short hair and big earings, but can be normal looking.
Reason tablets three taken daily. If the sufferer displays shaming tactics double the dose. Remarkably the illness disappears in disaster zones.
