I want to put this into 'Chit-Chat,' but I can't find it or got deleted (or something).

I was watching this video and its comments, and it got me thinking...

This one is from Stardusk. I like what he has to say, but if the MRM is about equality, then should it be inclusive? Or maybe the MRM should be men only (because it does say Men's Rights Movement), which I'm okay with btw? I know that we have to be on our toes (both men and women) for the wolves in sheep's clothing, because looks can be deceiving. I know that we women should get up on our feet, stop claiming credit of doing things (when in reality it was done on the backs of men), and try to do something without invading their space for once.

Should us women butt out of the MRM? Should the MRM be male-exclusive? Should we trust female MRAs/MR supporters? Should women like me and others be trusted or be weary of?

I understand that these sound like stupid questions, but I feel that these are legitimate. There are some comments in the video that say in the gist of:

--Don't even trust a single female MRA. At all. They are infiltrators and are innate feminists.
--Feminism = female nature.
--Traditionalist women are crap, because they want men to be their slaves. They are just like feminists. Be wary of them.

Some of these guys don't even like/trust the likes of Girlwriteswhat and Christy0Misty for example--because they're assumed to have an ulterior motive.

I feel that they're cutting up the MRM. I am for the movement and want to help out--for it is you that made me smell the coffee, and now I am wide awake. If you want me to get out of the way, I will. If you want me to support you, I will. However, I will not betray nor will I infiltrate. I'm taking steps to convince my friends and family of the MRM. It sounds little, I know. I'm doing this for all of our sakes, for the sake of humanity. We are all harmed in Feminism's making and growth.

Another thing: For the women here I ask, what is the end result for supporting this movement? Why are we here? What are we here for? We women need to clarify this.

Divide and conquer.

I think women are an asset to the mrm.

No one will listen to men but it seems they will listen to women.

You must have relatives and friends who are men, it is only natural that you would want to see them treat fairly.

You do not have to be a man, to see that men are often persecuted by the political / judiciary systems that effect all of our lives.

I like the input from female members of this forum.

They sound no different than Andrea Dworkin or Gloria Steinem.

While I agree that women can have ulterior motives when joining MRA, there are genuine women that want feminism gone and disgusted with how women are getting away with murder.

Did they ever think that men can also have ulterior motives in MRA? I'm sure there are plenty of maginas going under cover, trying to stir up the pot.

Here are some things I'd like to clarify:

Whoever made the video is a either a feminist or a true misogynist.

Everyone who can should get married and have lots of kids. Why? To raise them as non-feminists and to really steamroll the movement against feminism. Of course, this will mean the traditional marriage in which the husband works and the wife stays home to take care of the kids.

After looking at some of the videos, I must say that I was wrong in my prejudgement and should learn to look for myself first. Something I apologize and need to work on.

I actually agree with the commentary and took from the videos that they just want MRM to be careful of fake females that want to get under the good graces. Women can be quite manipulative and deceiving at times, so I can see why they wanted to bring up certain points and warn men about this.

	Anyone who claims they are a "fan" of a particular sports team, even though they had no prior support for/interest in the team until that team started winning. These types of fans only show playoff interest, have probably never watched a regular season game, don't own any type of team merchandise, nor would they buy any.

I thought about this because on my game we have a lot of bandwagon fans now that we're winning. In context, this makes a lot of sense when you think of anti-feminists as a sports team.

Maybe some women join the mrm because they are sick of being told that they are victims to something... MRA's need to support those women who support us and boot those who are sheep in wolves clothing. Also I wouldn't be surprised if many women are fed up with the gender role they are put into by feminism. Many women realize that being a homemaker isn't as demanding as the workplace can be. Also many realize that they are being duped into thinking that they need to act like men to be effective in the workplace...

Popadibs, do you enjoy arguments? I was pointing out the stupidity of the statement. Every one serves some one/thing - even those "free" feminists. And who said a wife is a slave? Me? The husband and wife are "slaves" to each other. Some girls would love to be a slave, but they have been oppressed into "not" being a slave and "realizing" their "true" desire to be "free".

In this case it is a just a matter of being "sorry" because feminism is no longer appealing to them. If this is the reason many of them oppose feminism then they still aren't repentant. In this case, they didn't change their ways but adapted to their unfavorable situation. It is like a woman in her physical prime rejecting a man and only feeling bad about it when he becomes successful and she is physically past her prime and her life isn't so good.

They don't mind the harm being done to everyone else because of them, though.

Exactly. What are they a victim of anyway? Nature? Women? Their own heart? Just like a person can find oppression through "freedom", a person can find freedom through "oppression".
