A documentary is an interesting idea. But as Zubri says your first step is to check what has been produced to date.

The second thing, dont be surprised to find that most men here have probably been accused of such things (is a "standard proecedure" by feminists in divorce proceedings), but the accusation is SO emotibe they will fear admitting to it, let alone putting their face to a camera !

But the first part of the idea a DOCUMENTARY is a good idea, but perhaps a documentary on another issue? Perhaps we could have a poll on AM what issues need to be covered. OR the problem may not be that documentaries have been made, but rather they have no impact in our culture (or am I being over pesimisstic?)

I'd rather make a comedy. I know that some of us have had experiences that have been no laughing matter but comedy, if used in the right way, can be a powerful tool. Feminism is ripe for all kinds of satire but I can't think of anyone who has taken the bullshit by the horns and really stuck it to them.

As for finance, Sir Paul McCartney might have a few Quid left after Heather Mills took him for 24 million.

Certainly, but I'd always start my learned narrative from a perspective whereby feminism is a useful idiot to a wider more intricate and intelligent political agenda. Focusing solely on feminism alone is a convenient scapegoating target and not taking note of the more notable intravenous links which keeps it alive beyond the social convention.

I would urge all those dedicated to opposing feminism, to research the history extensively. If you just start thrashing around predictable rants you play into ideological hands. Become more versed with feminist history than feminists themselves as a starting point to opposition (know thy enemy!).

Make a documentary, but engage upon dedicated research that probes, undermines and destroys the opposition overwhelmingly (the achilles heel).

There is a fine documentary series already that would provide many useful starting points for developing.

I would urge everyone to send a referral or any or all of the short video essays to everyone they know. Use them in addressing specifics in support of an argument.

Email the URLs to local TV stations, journalists etc.

The more the merrier. Iv'e seen a few documentaries currently on the topic but why not another. If anything doing one specifically on the plight of men instead of the dangers of feminism would be a new twist.

I agree with you Celtic, a lot of history will have to be brought into the movie, whether documentary, comedy or otherwise.

Other possibilities:
- a period or historical film
- scifi or fantasy

You see, the planning stage is the longest part - filming is then easy.

Of course you could make a documentary by taking bits from other films and clips on you tube.

In fact the best BBC documentaries (see Adam Curtis on wiki Adam Curtis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) are made by cips and just a voice over commentary.

Curtis made some of the greatest political documentries of the decade this way - see his wiki links for his key documentaries - they are very inspirational

This is not a one-man project. It is something that needs many people working on it for it to have any amount of success. If everyone contributes even a little bit of their time and energy, a documentary like this could have a major impact on our society.
