    Just an observation

    [break]160679[/break]

See this video, above (link)... Or not... All you need to know is it's about female cashier flashing customers (candid camera). Ain't it interesting. Can you imagine the genders reversed? It would be candid camera alright... On the "America's most perverted cashiers" show.

    Just sayin'... not ranting.

Yep - spot on with the understanding of differences in genders giving differences in reception of such an act.

The most offensive thing you can do to a feminist is treat her with FULL equality.
Wife : "I dreamt they were auctioning off dicks. The big ones went for ten dollars and the thick ones went for twenty dollars."
Husband : "How about the ones like mine?"
Wife : "Those they gave away."
Husband : "I had a dream too...I dreamt they were auctioning off pussy. The pretty ones went for a thousand dollars, and the little tight ones went for two thousand."
Wife : "And how much for the ones like mine?"
Husband : "That's where they held the auction."

I do agree that if a man were flashing it would be a different story however it would be difficult to establish a basis for comparison. Men lack developed breasts, after all, and the social taboo for a woman exposing her breasts is a relatively minor thing, speaking relatively especially when one takes into account more european attitudes and so on, there are a small number of places (beaches, for example) where many people do not consider it inapropriate for a woman to expose her breasts. Also consider that a woman may breast-feed anywhere in public without it being thought of as a lewd display, non-porographic material occasionally depicts photographs of bare breasts, usually before / after plastic surgery images or guides on giving oneself a breast exam.

To use cinema as an example of the taboo assosciated with sexual organs consider that it is somewhat rare for any movie considered wholesome (I do not mean suitable for children, but simply not exploitation-fare) to show either a womans pubic area or a man's penis. Images of a vaginal opening in non-pornographic cinema are essentially nonexistant, compare to an erect male penis.

Unfortunately, I again fail to see any inherent bias in the attitude illustrated. Though, admitedly the TV show is very stupid.

What I find sad is that such "value" is associated with a split second view of some girl's breasts. I think the overinflated sense of self value many women have of themselves is entirely created by the reactions of men giving them more attention than they are worth.

Zen Priest and Karl excellent I was wondering who would be the first to spot that...as Capt Manwaring would say ...LOL
Tiresome,Tiresome in the media - this obsession we are supposed to have.

Unthinking men play along to spuriously prove their manhood. This has been a tabloid driven thing as well.I bet men pre the 1960's were far less
    worried to prove thus.
Sex is another weapon employed to subdue us and again the unthinking allow an abnormal -obsession with a very ordinary, natural part of life.
Out of control we all know it clouds reason,as ever this can easliy be exploited and is by big business and notoriously in the world of espionage. As with all passion which has its place - reason must be master. This is common sense.I agree
feminism is a disease the Doc is working on a cure. Symptoms include compulsive liar, constant aggression, allergic to logic, often affects women who are fat with short hair and big earings, but can be normal looking.
Reason tablets three taken daily. If the sufferer displays shaming tactics double the dose. Remarkably the illness disappears in disaster zones.

Hmmmm, dad savage, I have a hard time seeing a woman labelled as a pervert for flashing (not just breasts).

Yeah, this was another point I wanted to raise in my first post, but then forgot about it.

It's a difficult question, as I said before, the social taboo around a woman exposing herself (not her breasts) is about as strong as that of a man doing the same, of course I have no hard evidence, but have tried to validate this claim using close examples (see above) and, fact, the legal attitude to each thing is identicle. Knowing this I personally believe that it would be considered indecent, as far as the public are concerned, although there would be a stronger chord of dissidence, people saying that the reaction was somehow sexist/unfair, whereas if a man did the same it would be unlikely that anyone would jump to his defence.
