I use facebook a fair amount, and have been recently finding relatives I didn't know existed.

Without relying on real names, I'll refer to this one as... Anne.

I have had Anne's Sister on my contacts for quite a while but hadn't added many of her side of the family to my list. So after a while I decided to check out her side and added a few of them.

Anne seemed ok.

We chatted once or twice, and at some point she asked if I'd start sending her gifts using the application known as 'FarmVille'. I responded to say that I don't play it often as I prefer the application 'FarmTown', but I would send her some gifts over on the occasions I did play FV.

I sent her a gift that day. I also sent her some over the course of a week. A couple of days back, I received a message pretty much insisting I remember to send her gifts. I ignored it. Then today I got another message:

well like i said, i mentioned it the very first time you asked me, in chat and went on to say that i played farmtown mostly. Like I said, you don't take rejection well at all. Judging by your aggressive and hostile stance, while playing some kind of 'victim' role, i'm gonna guess you don't have many friends either online or in real life. If you have to delete someone just because they re-explain they don't play daily when you continually pester them to send gifts, that's your choice. So tell me, what was so - 'nasty' about me saying 'no'?

I'm not offended by it, just surprised at the hostile reaction you've given. I'm assuming you do realise, we're actually relatives - not just 'friends' (or, not any longer friends as the case is)? Distant relatives, yeah...

Am I over-reacting by her response to being told 'no' or is she?
