She does not specify how cruel men were to her. Its really down to nature but people expect way too much form the opposite sex. Nature has a powerful hand in all this... Any way I would be interested in your thoughts folks. It is odd she hates men but wants to marry one for what purpose exactly? http://dating.personals.yahoo.com/si...now-i-hate-men feminism is a disease the Doc is working on a cure. Symptoms include compulsive liar, constant aggression, allergic to logic, often affects women who are fat with short hair and big earings, but can be normal looking. Reason tablets three taken daily. If the sufferer displays shaming tactics double the dose. Remarkably the illness disappears in disaster zones.

Remember the mostly-female boards I said I used to be on? Well, one of them was a fat acceptance forum (I am a believer in size acceptance). Anyway, a number of women on there felt extreme anger at a lot of men they had met, because many men judge a woman based on body size alone. I tried explaining that men are very visual, and this is something most women will never be able to understand. It was one of the first things I said that made them realize I didn't have the typical female group-think. I think I discussed this when I first came to this board, but until I was about 25 or so, I was thin. After my marriage, both my husband and I started putting on weight. In 2001 I was at my highest weight: 305 lbs. I began losing weight, not from trying to, but as a side effect of a lifestyle change I'd made for other reasons (had to do with my IBS-D and looking for a way to remember my Dad, who had died the year before....he used to work out a lot, and I decided to return to that kind of lifestyle as a way to remember him.) The end result was that I wound up losing well over 100 lbs. That was over 6 years ago, and the weight never came back because I have continued my active lifestyle. So, maybe because of WHEN I got large, I was spared what this woman is talking about. When I was single, I was thin/average. My husband has never been obsessed with body size; he had dated thin and fat women, made no difference to him. He looks at the inner person, not the outer one as much. Because of how he thinks on that, he has had other women try to take him away from me (like I need another reason to hate females? lol) If anything, it goes to show how much women want a man who will take them for the kind of person they are, and not what they look like. Of course, most women today are bitches, so they would be ugly inside, regardless if they are fat or thin on the outside. But I still wanted to make my point. But having listened to what the women on the fat acceptance forum had said, I know how they feel. They wondered what would happen even if they lost the weight/kept it off...what would a man do when they got old, and started getting wrinkles and gray hair? There are only so many things a man or woman can do before the march of time (and gravity) becomes inevitable. I will say one thing: I loved men when I was 110 lbs, I loved men when I was 135 lbs, I loved men when I was 305 lbs, and I love men now at 160 lbs. My size made NO difference, but then, I wasn't out dating when I was heavier, either. Dear skank, men don't find fat women attractive. Some women don't like a man who is poor, and has low self esteem. Both sexes are equally as superficial in different ways. Get over it.

Its true, Drex, that people let themselves get fat. I did, but so did my husband. I never gave him a hard time for it, but truthfully, it was probably because I prefer stockier men, and always have. But you know something? I was fine with my size when I was big. Maybe its because as a kid, I got teased by some other kids in school because I was underweight...so to me, being heavier was a protection against that. I tend to think that is why I was always fine with my size. As with almost everything else, I was the opposite of most women...when I was at my biggest, I dressed very sharp....dresses, heels, makeup, nice hair....and believe it or not, guys flirted with me. My son even says to me that I looked much better when I was heavy..he says I was prettier and looked more feminine. But now....I wear fitness clothes all the time, no makeup, hair in a ponytail..sneakers....my mother is exasperated! She said to me, "WHY! WHY! WHY!...You did such a good job losing all that weight, only to walk around dressed like a slob?!" This whole fat thing is horse shit. If you have a good personality, you can make up for it. I'd rather have a slightly over weight woman in my life who has a nice personality, than a skinny pole who acts like a bitch. Women who get called fat asses usually have other bad traits which bring men to insult them like that.

FTR there are men who prefer fat women (even very fat, which I have trouble understanding, but...to each his own!) See: http://www.dimensionsmagazine.com

I like curvy women the skinny ones make me sick. I think this woman wanted to find someone to blame for her feelings and since men didn't give her the attantion she thought she deserved it became all mens fault that she was unhappy. Women have been cruel to me because of my thinning hair my big gut my age my beard all kinds of reasons but since I am not an emotional volcano just waiting to blow it's top I ignore them. I am married to a woman who overlooks my flaws as much as I overlook hers. But to blame men for her feelings is just stupid.

Any guy with rock hard abs has waaaay too much time on his hands to preen over himself in the gym, etc. I don't like men who spend as much or more time in front of a mirror as most women do. Plus, a lot of guys who like having/getting abs are really gay anyway. Gay men are very big on the abs thing.
