Huffington Post tells the MRM to "grow some"
Another wonderful commentary from our friends at the Huffington Post:
Article:
Time for the Men's Rights Movement to Grow Some
The whole article is, as to be expected, one giant missrepresentation of the facts concerning the MRM and feminism. A real hoot of a read! These emblems of progress represent all the good the MRM could accomplish if it wasn't stymied by one simple premise -- MRM doesn't want to work with feminist groups.Do not ever suppose that a small group of people can never change the world. INDEED it is the only thing that ever has.

A good find.
My comment: "A person who believes in equality is an "Egalitarian" not a feminist." - waiting for approval.God kept His word and sent His Prophet in this day.

Re: Huffington Post tells the MRM to "grow some"
That is what stymied Martin Luther King's movement. He didn't want to work with the Klan.
Honestly, this is much what would be expected by a Huffer, heavy on the bias and light on the facts. It starts off by stating that there are actual problems the MRM faces, but then throws in the SPLC's claim, or the notion that feminists include men (though that technically counts, since feminists include men as designated villains).
My comment:
This starts by sounding sympathetic, but quickly devolves into praise for feminists, and an attack on men's rights groups, and the concept of men's rights. It ends up very lopsided. You mentioned Rush Limbaugh as a proof that misogyny still stands, but failed to mention Senator Nina Turner's recent insults explicitly targeting men as a group as an example of misandry (perhaps worse since she is an elected official, not just someone with a radio program).
You mentioned how feminism is inclusive, but fail to note when feminism has ever addressed anti-male injustices. Feminists were the ones who pushed VAWA, which explicitly is against men (it's even in the name of the act itself). Have feminists addressed male genital mutilation (still legal in the US, and widely practiced), the rape definition which doesn't include male victims of women, the inequality in sentencing for the same crimes, etc.?
If you are going to assert that feminism is inclusive of all genders (besides allowing men in its ranks to fight for more women's rights and privileges), then you need to back it up, otherwise I'd still assert that feminism is quite happy to ignore any issue of male rights, and that this is the reason why the MRM is needed, and why it is working alone. No one else is helping.

Husband : "How about the ones like mine?"
Wife : "Those they gave away."
Husband : "I had a dream too...I dreamt they were auctioning off pussy. The pretty ones went for a thousand dollars, and the little tight ones went for two thousand."
Wife : "And how much for the ones like mine?"
Husband : "That's where they held the auction."

Re: Huffington Post tells the MRM to "grow some"
I didn't read the article so much as watch the video at the end.
In the Bible, God made Eve as a helper for Adam. Eve, as a woman, was given various skills and abilities but without the direction to use it. Adam was given guidance and leadership part. WW1, the depression, and the economic boom set the stage for WW2 by reducing the male labor force. With this lack of work force the government to stepped in and replaced the man's place in a woman's life as her leader and told her to work.
Now, a woman no longer has a man giving her directions, but the institution of the state. The feminist movement has worked at, and to a large extent succeeded, in removing the man from his place and getting women following their new master. If a man is not the leader of the his family, what purpose does he have? What reason does he have to succeed? If he is successful it serves him no purpose because he, himself, has no purpose. He is like a lone wolf eating, sleeping, and trying to find a temporary mate that will mother his children as part of the female community only to kick his sons out into the wild as soon as they can.
The woman in the video wandered why the men's statistics were declining when the answer is so simple - you kicked us off the bridge. Our society puts a premium on beauty; common in declining cultures.

Re: Huffington Post tells the MRM to "grow some"
Why the fuck would we want to work with our enemies?
"There are lies, damned lies, and there are feministic statistics". Myself
"Behind every bitch, is a FEMINIST who made her that way....". Myself
