Feminists Overlook Sexism in Language! | |

Feminists have been harping for years how English is patriarchal and sexist. We've finally come to see the correctness of a "woman's way of knowing". So, in the spirit of advancing the cause of non-discriminatory language, one NCFM-DC member reexamines the sexism in language that the feminists somehow managed to overlook!
First, the term "mother" must be reserved for reference to a female parent. All other materno-centric usage needs to be stopped. Mother Nature and Mother Earth will evolve into "Parental Nature" and "Ancestral Earth". Oops! We can't have anything that smacks of hierarchy, so get rid of those initial capital letters, too!
