So, here we have a President of the United States, at the very beginning of the 20th.century, speaking about Rockefeller, powerful cliques that compose the invisible government. Was he likely to be a conspiracy nut?

Could be I suppose, so I did a little research on my own. I didn't find what I was looking for, but it was eye opening.

So, what do I find. I find a letter from former President Roosevelt, dated January 3rd. 1913, to a C. Davenport, entitled 'American Philosophical Society Library. Permission necessary for Reproduction.' Here is an extract:-

'I agree with you if you mean, as I suppose you do, that society has no business to permit degenerates to reproduce their own kind. It is extraordinary that our own people refuse to apply to human beings such elementary knowledge as every successful farmer is obliged to apply to his own stock breeding. Any group of farmers who permitted their best stock not to breed, and let all the increase come from the worst stock, would be treated as fit inmates for an asylum.'

More conspiracy? Quite possibly, and even if there was a great conspiracy there is sod all we can do about it. Bet it makes you think though.

It was quite normal in those days to think along these lines, this was caused by the 19th century findings of Darwin and similar scientists. It's no coincidence that one of George Orwell's satires of totalitarianism is called Animal Farm

Isn't there always a 'conspiracy' among vested interests to maintain their advantages? There's nothing mysterious about it

The modern form of these theories (JFK, NWO etc) seems closer to pseudo-science or pseudo-religion - I remain skeptical

Conspiracy theories etc are always, in my view, a big yawn.

While the public is tied up, wasting its energies considering the far fetched (yet largely insignificant to the vast majority), the real "conspirators" are happy at the distraction. It enables them to progress their agenda..

What you see everyday with your own senses and feel as instinct, should always guide you..

When a man hits a true "brick wall" it was likely put there by the state, who are of course under the orders of society's current dominant groups.

But never forget, we let them do this to us!!

The 'conspiracy' examined in this forum goes something like this:

Second-wave feminists, in collusion with Cultural Marxists, big business, big media and big government, have hijacked Western political and cultural institutions and are remaking society according to their twisted misandric dystopic vision at the expense of the normal majority

I'm not sure it matters whether such a plot is provable, but its effects are the issues discussed throughout the MRM

The various vested interests are pursuing short-term goals for short-term rewards in an environment created by all the other interest groups.

Another problem with conspiracy theories is that they can distract from the matters at hand - if everyone is arguing for or against eg. Lee Harvey Oswald then no one is paying attention to possible danger in the here-and-now, as well as dividing a potential alliance

I dont see that as a conspiracy theory, I see it as something that can be actually looked at and noted to be happening..

A conspiracy theory to me has to be tested by the "null hypothesis" method of checking if the reverse is not more likely!

I certainly see no evidence that the group is losing ground against the groups they seek to control!
