Having read the quote you gave, I was surprised twice over when I followed the link. First, because it was a female writer complaining (not that complaining is unique to we men folk) but also because she later calls herself a feminist. Personally, if I were a feminist and recognised the problems she clearly has recognised - I'd be very quickly denying any involvement with feminism and denouncing it - not stating myself as one.
