Thread: Female bankruptcy levels on the up

*Hands out money to women*

Women: "Yay! Our problems are temporarily solved!"

Basically, what I am trying to say, is sooner or later as this becomes a larger problem, the socialist nanny state is probably going to step in to help women that have gone bankrupt, (most likely through their own fault) with little regard for the outcome.
The government will help women out, simply because they are women in trouble, regardless of whether they actually caused the predicament in the first place.

Bo!!ox. So it's not about individual financial mismanagement? Or the fact that house prices and mortgages went sky high after they went two-salary? A single man will have as much trouble affording a house as a single women, because of the number of working wives.

But what else can you expect from the Grauniad?

Whatever happens to women, it's the patriarchy's fault.

Do they over-spend because they need the retail therapy to cope with their oppression?

That's interesting, because in this country it's become almost impossible to declare bankruptcy.

Given that there are far more men unemployed than women, I can't see why so many women should be going bankrupt but it has finally equalled the number of men. Since there are more women in the population than men, equality has not yet been achieved but it's close enough.
