So, I just checked out this new series that's premiering soon (got to watch the first episode):

You can watch it for free there.
My initial assessment of it is one of promise. It could always go sour, but this first episode was pretty funny and showed a, although dramatized, real representation of a feminist and her recruitment of a simple country girl. The portrayal of the men is still pathetically simple and animalistic, but then they aren't the focus of the show either.
I'll continue to watch it and see how it turns out.Our society puts a premium on beauty; common in declining cultures.

Yeah I had seen promos for that show too. Not sure of what I think of it yet.
