Just asking because I remember ironlady telling Hugo Schwyzer that he is only nice to his wife because he is afraid of sleeping on the couch the way traditional men do.

The whole idea of men being afraid of and submissive to their wives is ludicrous. I would rather not marry than deal with that shit. Whoever is the one who does want to sleep together should sleep on the couch. That is the mature and "equal" thing to do. I do like the idea of separate rooms, though!

What pissed me off was this woman is supposed to be on our side and she goes around bragging about how much pain her husband can take from her?

Which leads me to the conclusion that women generally join sites like this to find a way to go back to their previous life of privilege.

Honestly, I would love to have my own bedroom. In fact, before my son was born, I used to leave half-way through the night because my husband's snoring was too loud. He used to get sooo pissed at me for leaving though. So I finally stopped doing it when my son was born and bought tons of ear plugs. If I had my way, we'd each have our own bedroom in the next house but he's not keen on the idea.

Anyway, neither one of us ever leaves the bed. If we fight, we make up before bed. If we can't make up then we sleep at the very edge of the bed. It's a King sized bed so there's room
