Disney not doing enough to Feminize boys
Disney Launches Channel for Boys - Community
Look how jealous Feminists are of us. Feminism is just as much about Feminizing men as it is about masculinizing women.Real men hate women

Re: Disney not doing enough to Feminize boys
there is a popular program viewd by the Plebs here in Australia called NEIGHBOURS
it is about grown men role playing as feminit stooges in order to promote the new man ( sensitive sharing caring and pliable)
the men in Neighbours typically have deep discussions about feminit issues to which they support wholeheartedly
the gals are pert alert and pushy and manipulate the carboard men with cotton balls to their desired fate as ciphers

Re: Disney not doing enough to Feminize boys
Heaven forbid the boys get their own channel!
She hadn't even watched the programming and she's already making out as if she knows exactly what's being shown.
Because we all know boys are incapable of it anyway.None of the shows seem to focus on emotional development, friendship,...
Oh, so it all comes back to yourself? </surprise>In fact, one might argue that it's worse, because men have more power in a patriarchal society so the more misogynists we raise the worse the situation for women of future generations.
What one sees on television should always be taken with a pinch of salt anyway. Why is one channel such a terrible shame? Let them have it since you've ruined everything else for them; education, career, healthcare and so much more.
From a comment:
Sexist, how? Sexist like a clown? How frustrating! I guess I'm not surprised, since it seems that money-making enterprises are always eager to ride the Sexism Train.
While I agree that the corporation(s) behind it are only doing this with the motive of grabbing more money but what the hell is so sexist about it?

Re: Disney not doing enough to Feminize boys
This is the one point about feminism (and especial femifisting) that I don´t get. They really seem to believe that this is done out of sexism not out of money.
I don´t know where but one was complaining about a coke comercial directed at guys and she was wondering why they had to gender this? There was the obvious talk about sexism and patriarchy. But what happened at the Coke headquaters?
"Damn, men aren´t buying our coke."
"Let´s create a commercial that targets men"
"Agreed"
"Yep"
"k"
In the minds of the feminists:
"Damn, the patriarchy is going down"
"Let us create gendered commercials that drive men and women further apart"
"What a brilliant plan.....FOR PATRIARCHY"
"We also should include a sublimal text about why women shouldn´t vote"Disclaimer:The men's and fathers' movement needs to make sure it never sees females as the enemy, but only misandry--whether from females or from males. If not, we'll become like the bigoted feminists that this movement was formed to oppose.Glenn Sacks

Perpetual self-victimisation is what I call it.
One can either be stronger than or a victim of their counterpart, not both.
I don't, however, think self-victimisation is strictly gender specific, it's promoted a lot throughout other institutions in society.
I hear this a lot.I didn't pass the test. It was the teacher's fault for not teaching me rightLast edited by Mr.Lomax; 20th-February-2009 at 09:57 AM.

Re: Disney not doing enough to Feminize boys
although the hoes from Feministing would describe your characterization of their thought process as unfair, it is more or less what they actually think.
Both the Superbowl commercial and the new Disney channel really shows Feminists true face because it involves them going absolutely apeshit over something that doesn't involve women at all. Feminists are obsessed with men because they envy us so much.Real men hate women

Re: Disney not doing enough to Feminize boys
Here in the US anyhow, one could use THEIR argument as well... Lifetime anyone? Oxygen? Two "women's" channels that do nothing but support the tired old man=bad/woman=good mantra.
Of course, Disney isn't doing the reverse; woman=BAD/man=GOOD angle but, in their eyes, anything PRO-male MUST be bad...
As a matter of fact, Spike TV, supposedly a "men's" channel is pretty much a joke too. The commercials, some of the reruns of shows, all typical anti-male shit per the norm....
So maybe their issue isn't strong male roles (read not typical stupid evil males) but that there isn't enough strong women roles (at the expense of men of course) on the channel...
Yep.

Re: Disney not doing enough to Feminize boys
Their problem with the channel is that is promotes masculine values for boys. Masculine traits are only desirable for girls. Similary, Feminine traits are only desirable for boys.
That is Feminism in a nutshell.Real men hate women
