For example recently I talked with my parents about this theme when it came up during a discussion after dinner. They were born in the 1950's and obviously grew up in a rapidly different (and many ways better: strong nuclear families, lower crime, more unity) society, culture. When I mention how bad i.e. the Marriage Deal has become for men in the west, the closed divorce courts and lack of father's rights. They had a hard time accepting it. My mother specifically kept saying such things should be "evaluated from various angles". While this is true and I do that, there are undeniable truths and facts at the core. Also they kept derailing the discussion by changing it ever so slightly which was tiresome. I think it's much harder for them to comprehend, because they never witnessed it firsthand and have been together, married for almost all their lives. I'm proud of their "togetherness", but they are out of touch with the current situation and think it's vastly different per European or North American, Oceania nation. They kinda tried to "fix talk" it, if you know what I mean. I assured them things would turn very ugly if they ever experienced the familycourt/divorce court hell and could back up everything with statistics or articles. This may sound kinda unrespectful, but I think when that generation has left all positions of authority for retirement that things could be improved with less resistance. I didn't even bother with other issues. What are your experiences like and thoughts? ~ Support Fathers & Families for Father's Rights and Equal Parenting! I have an almost impossible time pulling down feminism to the older women. This is very personal to them and they basically scorn me for my views. They have stories to tell and they remember what women did and who did it going back to when one woman refused to wear pantihose. ![]() The older women working in the community get it easy. They are pleasant to speak with and they give stories of men's suffering. Older men are the same. You may be surprised to know that this is decades old fighting for them. I have been handed on a platter so much resources because they are so wanting a movement to come about. ........... I guess it is a lack of understanding.

My mother is an antifeminist as she believed they tried to belittle her for staying home. A traditional mother. Gotta love those. My father is normally never on my page and has always a complete different opinion. I don´t know how he pulls it off though. Quote:

It is not all older folk. I am a Knackered old shit and I advocate against feminism all the time. It is a question - as always - of how you go about it. First requirement is a knarled and blistered old forehead. It dulls the pain when you beat it against a wall. I have tried all my life to leave the place better than I found it. But there are 6 billion other buggers out there messing it up. I am outnumbered. But... YOU don't just make a difference, you make THE difference. ![]()

"It is not all older folk. I am a Knackered old shit and I advocate against feminism all the time." I am with Percy on this - I have seen the growth and maturity of feminitism which is just a pea n thimble trick I hope I will live long enough to see the decay of this monstrous confidence trick against men

Some older people get it my 96 year old nieghbour spent her life telling women much of what is wrong in the world -is feminism. She did not denigrate women or believe they were less than men she just said men have it really hard. She saw what happened many from WWW1 and 2 and all the stuff we discuss here! Older middle aged maybe knowing only their own lives and dont see the bigger picture dont get it. Dont worry someone said "the strong must learn to be lonely", or maybe its just the truthful in any case. Its rough it will make you strong and you wont fall prey to the pitfalls but you will watch others learn the hard way. It is great to see so many young guys like you here who really are wise and know the score! You can warn smart men those who want to listen let them learn... feminism is a disease the Doc is working on a cure. Symptoms include compulsive liar, constant aggression, allergic to logic, often affects women who are fat with short hair and big earings, but can be normal looking. Reason tablets three taken daily. If the sufferer displays shaming tactics double the dose. Remarkably the illness disappears in disaster zones.

One factor is that divorce isn't as much a part of their worldview. But it is mine, having had a ring side seat to some of the proceedings. I think a divorced man irrespective of age will strongly and enthusiastically agree with Men's Issues. The most effective test for marital stability seems to having gone thru shared adversity.

Tyrael, where did this discussion come from? I am hearing that we are now waiting for the next generation. How is it that you speak of this? What gives? Who is actually running this show? It is not I? I doubt I will ever get a say if it is already owned.

When I talked with my parents I witnessed the generation gap, cause half a century ago society was better and there weren't many draconian, privacy intrusive laws. The older generation in general still hold various top positions in society and don't pay much attention to the destructiveness of feminism/gender communism or have not directly experienced it. When they all retire and others move in, the newcomers would be more sensitive to these things when they've experienced it themselves or relatives. ~ Support Fathers & Families for Father's Rights and Equal Parenting! I submit that the analogy to "Good Germans" of a previous Weimar Era is quite appropriate. Many older people (particularly those women who rationalized the many special benefits they themselves received - with a 'victim' status bestowed upon them by the twysted systerhood) such as those who won WW-2 and the Cold War... Simply can't believe that they have bought in to a Separatist / Neo-Exterminationist Coven of Misandry that is every bit as Hate Driven against Men as the Nazis were against Jews. This despite the fact that Feminazi Manifestos (like SCUM) just as rabid as Hitlers 'Mein Kampf' - are mainstream text books throughout the pathetic farce that passes itself as Academentia... From which dissent is Verbotten! Time and again I have encountered references to the 19th Amendment (Men granting Women the Vote in 1920) as evidence of womyn's oppression(it took too long), with Absolutely No Mention of the Fact that Women are the Only group ever to receive the Franchise without the Corresponding Responsiblity to Defend it. Fact is that the American Model of "Citizen Soldier" has always included Involuntary Consciption as part of the package - at least until the Womyn's Movement made it an optional (womyn's prerogative) part of their Al-a-carte Menu of privileges and benefits owed to them by the brutish raping testosterone poisoned pigs of the patriarchy... As Reparations for failing to given women the vote without the duty to defend it Earlier! Best keep quiet about it though - wouldn't want to spread any "Ism-0bia", what with everything else going around and all. Ohso In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutoinary act.
