Re: Day of 'Global Revolution' comes to London as thousands of demonstrators take over the City

I heard on the radio this week a story about Occupy Portland (Oregon), which consists of a tent city where people are living in order to protest more effectively (?). A spokesman for the group said that they had engineers there who had designed and built 3 bicycles that could be used to recharge car batteries, and that their aim was to go off the grid.

The thought that ran through my mind at the time was, "Who is paying for the use of the land where they've built their "city"?" How can it really be off the grid, if taxpayers are paying for their lodging? I don't know about you guys, but if I don't make my mortgage payment, my lender gets mighty cranky.

    Typical Portland thinking, though.

Re: Day of 'Global Revolution' comes to London as thousands of demonstrators take over the City

These protests are bigger than mens rights. Feminism is part of what got us to the bad place but I think these protests address bigger things like jobs being shipped overseas so the fat cats can get even fatter. College kids who have no job being given credit cards just so they can be thrown into debt as soon as they are of age to have debt and on and on and on. College fees also create massive debt. You can't refuse to be involved with credit because you can't even rent an apartment or get a cell phone without a credit check. If given the choice, how many would choose NOT to a be a part of the credit system? This has been a long time coming and I support these protests.

I also expected Percy to see the big picture, there is more wrong with the world than feminism. The elites, who designed feminism to destroy the family and put the kids into the hands of governments also designed economic collapse.

An interesting article on "occupy wall street" here

Occupy Wall Street’s General Assembly operates under a revolutionary “progressive stack.” A normal “stack” means those who wish to speak get in line. A progressive stack encourages women and traditionally marginalized groups speak before men, especially white men. This is something that has been in place since the beginning, it is necessary, and it is important.

“Step up, step back” was a common phrase of the first week, encouraging white men to acknowledge the privilege they have lived in their entire lives and to step back from continually speaking.

Here's their list of demands. Tell me if you think this is remotely achievable without destroying human society as a whole.
Proposed List Of Demands For Occupy Wall St Movement! | OccupyWallSt.org Forum

And now some more from a feminist blogger named Allison Burtch who thinks it's perfectly OK to be sexist, misandric, and racist as long as it's against men, preferably Caucasian. Her article is nothing short of thinly veiled hate speech. These are the feminazi's who are trying to direct the protest movement.

Guest post: My hope for #occupy wall street

“Step up, step back” was a common phrase of the first week, encouraging white men to acknowledge the privilege they have lived in their entire lives and to step back from continually speaking. This progressive stack has been inspiring and mind-boggling in its effectiveness. Manissa McCleave Maharawal writes on Racialicious regarding her block. In fact, the Declaration of the Occupation of Wall Street would not have been released if not for the blocking power of a different document a week prior by the Speakeasy caucus (for non-male identified and traditionally marginalized people)?

"On October 1st, the Occupied Wall Street Journal, founded by Arun and Jed of Indypendent and supported by over $40,000 of Kickstarter funds was released. The difference between the Wall Street Journal and the Occupied WSJ is that one actually features female journalists. There were 9 writers total; here are their first names: Eric, Jim, Arun, Michael, Grim, Jed, David, Chris, Nathan – all men, if I am correct in assuming that Grim is in fact male-identified and not female (if not, it’s still a terrible percentage).

To gain clarity, I wrote to the Indypendant, Arun, Jed, and to their Kickstarter; I also tweeted at them. I did not receive a response. Hopefully The Occupied Wall Street Journal will abide by the zeitgeist of this movement, which is radical inclusivity. Anything claiming to represent the General Assembly should be subject to the same governing principles, which would include a progressive stack. If this is a revolution of white men, it will not succeed."

What a perfectly good way to start out a political movement, single out a group and marginalize them, demonize them, deny them access to free speech, deny them the ability to defend themselves. Beginning to look like Nazi Germany of the past......

The "progressive stack" is nothing but outright censorship of men who are hetrosexual and (gasp!) white. If the movement is to succeed, they WILL need strait men (black, brown, white, yellow, tawny, purple, green, and mauve)

Well, no one expects that they will get all of their demands but you start high and compromise and I am sure no one person agrees with every demand. It's better than letting the bankers and corporation continue to destroy things. It's alright though, laugh and hope the elite gets the chance to finish the destruction they started.

The elite has been no friend to men, why be their friends now?

    Mine would read:

I'm a single 49 year old father of 2 boys who paid his $43,000 student debt off as well as his ex-wives student debt of $36,000

I worked 2 jobs for 9 years to pay for my families needs and was cuckolded and divorced once the house and student debt were nearly paid off.

I fought a corrupt family court system for 11 years to get my ex-wife to pay a paltry $400 per month in child support.

I was in debt $18,000 in legal fees to fight for my basic right as a human being to be treated as a human being by the family court system.

I was sued for alimony by my ex-wife after being divorced 6 years. I was in debt for $5500 in legal fees.

I worked at $4.25 per hour pouring concrete while going to college

I worked nights and weekends as bouncer at a local college hangout for $5.00 per hour.

I worked days as a green grocer manager at $7.00 per hour and the second shift as a data center computer operator at $8.55 per hour.

After 8 years I was promoted to a lead system programmer position making $14.50 per hour.

I simply started working and took the low paying jobs and worked my way up from there.

I am not the 99%. I am not the 1%. To your movement I really don't matter. I'm a single father who fought the system and won, but at a cost to my hard earned wealth and psychological stability.

For those protesters who complain no one will hire them at $30 per hour, you are right. A liberal arts degree won't get you hired as a manager without some experience. Add to that the entitlement attitude, and you will be pushing a button to make lattes for quite a long time.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I squeezed 4 years of military service in between pouring concrete to the start of my professional career in Information technology.

Here is a MAN. One who got on with living his life against the odds and against all that human mendacity could throw at him. He TRIED hard. He struggled. He came through with INTEGRITY. And even not knowing him, I bet he doesn't have rastafarian locks. He certainly hasn't lived on the dole expecting hand-outs from taxpayers most of his life.

    I salute you sir.

Let's be real. These overfed scumbags will never give the people, their money back. All of them live by the same notion. "Too much wealth is never enough." They will keep lying, cheating and stealing until it kills them.

..and the "MEN" Percy is referring to will work themselves to death all the while the elite will keep taking from them and trying to rip them off at every opportunity.

It better hurry the hell up and get here before the counterfeit Jews and Socialist pimp daddies break out the guillotines. When it does happen, it won't matter if you're blind, deaf, gay straight, atheists, rich or poor. You'll be giving two choices....

This has nothing to do with anti-feminism or mens rights, this has to do with a bunch of moronic hipster kids who got into too much debt with their credit cards and are blaming other people for it. If you got a stupid degree that you KNEW wouldn't land you a job like liberal arts or whatever useless tosh these kids decided to study, then too bad, you should of actually looked into how your degree would benefit you in the future. There is no revolution here, none, a revolution would be a lot different to some scruffy bearded, latte drinking, vegan tent sitters moaning and crying that they're in debt at age 18-22.

This isn't a revolution, it's a joke and it doesn't benefit anti-feminists or mens rights activists in any way.
