    Clashing with Feminist Over ‘Manliness’

    Quote Quote from [url=http://www.thecrimson.com/article.aspx?ref=512240
DANIEL B. HOWELL @The harvard Crimson (click for the whole article)[/url]]“Manliness is a challenge to a gender neutral society,” said Kenan Professor of Government Harvey C. Mansfield ’53, in an interview aired this weekend to promote his recent book, “Manliness”.

In the interview, shown on C-SPAN 2Â’s BookTV, feminist writer Naomi Wolf pressed Mansfield on his opinions about gender.

Mansfield argued that manliness is a virtue, which he defined as “confidence in a situation of risk.”

Mansfield also said the “manly man” is defined by his indifference to women and his refusal to pander to them.
“Women don’t have the same sense of authority,” he said.

When Wolf asked, “You need a penis to have authority?” Mansfield replied, “It helps.”
    LOOOOLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

read the whole stuff there. It's not long, BTW.

    Another article featuring Mansfield.

In his controversial book, Mansfield argues that manliness has been hijacked by feminism and advocates of gender-neutral society.

I love that quote, excellent humour in use and worse yet, he's using her questions to insult her! HA, that's just brilliance!

The most offensive thing you can do to a feminist is treat her with FULL equality.
Wife : "I dreamt they were auctioning off dicks. The big ones went for ten dollars and the thick ones went for twenty dollars."
Husband : "How about the ones like mine?"
Wife : "Those they gave away."
Husband : "I had a dream too...I dreamt they were auctioning off pussy. The pretty ones went for a thousand dollars, and the little tight ones went for two thousand."
Wife : "And how much for the ones like mine?"
Husband : "That's where they held the auction."

Exactly, great response to such a stupid question.

I would love to see the expression on Wolf's face (i.e. her reaction) when he said that. Because she was pwn3d.

    Naomi Wolfe interview

I just finished reading Christina Hoff Sommers book "The War On Boys". She has 2 sons and is married. She references a book I have yet to read called "Mothers And Sons". It is about Feminists who have sons. They try to gender norm them but soon realize it does not work. One a Pacifist, very liberal, and a militant Feminist has a Son who becomes a Career Soldier. An Army Ranger. His inner desire to defend his family, Sisters, and aggressive instincts cannot be surpressed. She is impressed with his inner Strength and Courage.

An All Male School emphasized Virtue as the highest expression of Manliness. And members of the Football team competed to join the Choir. Poetry and art, were heavily encouraged. The Instructors were all Male and Masculine Men, standards, an honor code were also heavily emphasized. The scholastic results were very impressive. In addition to the attacks on masculinity, starting in the 1970s ethics, morality, and values were removed from schools in the US as well as discipline.

Boys especially need ethics, morals, and discipline. They respond to competition, guidelines, rules etc. This was effectively removed and we see the result. With removal of Fathers from half of US Families Boys have no positive Male Role Models to grow up with. And Feminists insist that Fathers are not necessary to the development of Boys. Fathers instill in Boys the code of morality that Men must live by. Women do a very poor job of this with boys. The transmission of these cultural values along with Anger Management, responsibility, accountability, how to deal with Women and figures of Authority are best taught by Fathers.

Young Men in the US are confused. As Women say one thing, think another, and yet do another. They insist they want Decent Men who are used as "Emotional Tampons", while they have sex with Thugs and Criminals. If you are a tatooed Biker or Ex Con you have more sexual opportunities with Women than you can handle. Cognitive Dissonance is the terms that come to mind.
