I laughed at some stuff, but I also don't agree with a few things he says. The first thing that comes to my mind is "men being handicapped because they need sex and women don't". I think that's one of the biggest misconceptions in the western culture.

Next, "Never argue with a woman, because you can't win". Isn't such mentality exactly what made things the way they are - don't argue with anybody who has a vagina, just do what they say. This mentality sucks and me thinks that it's exactly this attitude, that is the source of all this trouble we're in... Just obey! And you'll be fine. Yea, right. One little catch: you won't decrease the demands that way, but increase them instead. If it was so easy to get anything you came up with, why not demand even more? And more. And more... And I don't blame such women at all. I don't like what they do, but let's face it - the only reason they do it, is because they KNOW they can. It's up to men to wake up. Shouldn't wait for such women to see the light and change their ways. That would be naive.

Or maybe I am naive, hoping that men will wake up. Honestly, I'm not so sure about that anymore... Oh, well...

But on a serious note- I can see the points LG is making here, particularly in regards to men just having to 'put up' with a woman's nagging, thereby sending the message that we should accept their bullshit

That aside- I think the clip had some grains of truth within it- which is why this kind of observational comedy works in the first place

It depends on the situation. The first depends purely on market forces. Western women are in a seller's market and it's not even a free market. Men who are 'awake' in LG's terms have two choices - either work to try and free up the market or refuse to buy on those terms. The price then falls and future buyers have more options. In some environments it can even become a 'buyers market'.

Arguing/discussing is more complex, since words don't always mean the same thing in male and female brains. It's like conversing in two different languages. Men sometimes take the trouble to understand the language of women because of the above market restrictions. Most women don't bother to understand the language of men because their not interested. That's a generalisation and I accept there are many exceptions.

Either way I reckon men need to know what they're up against and act accordingly.
