You went out of your way to state you weren't a second wave feminist (early 1960s to the late 1990s), but is that something adopted to avoid the more discerning who might ask if you're third-wave feminism or aspiring to a fourth?

I actually rather like "female friendly" porn.. I dunno why, perhaps its because I'm and old romantic at heart and tire of the porn "set pieces" and actors/actresses who seem to be just running through the positions and faking everything..

Guys, I know we've heard the song and dance before, and been lied to and disappointed countless times. But it doesn't mean every single one is a liar. She came here and made a respectful request, and made it very clear she wasn't interested in talking about feminism or pushing an agenda.

If we jump every new person en masse, very hostile from the get-go, that accomplishes nothing.

I understand knee-jerk reactions to sensitive subjects; I've been known to go off a time or two myself.

But at least give her a chance to do something offensive first.

Of course KM.. I agree 100%.. Better a honest "feminist" than a full of poo so called friend of MRA's and men.. (As regular members here will know, I do find it hard to see much difference between "feminists" and MRA's anyway! Both groups seem obsessed with "equality" and the rights of only their preffered "gender"..)

She could easily react to this reaction, with an even greater over-reaction..

I know, but she isn't innocent by her choices. I'm just in a good mood to take a high-end feminist scalp and allow upcoming members to observe how it's done.

She's maybe a prospective Harriet Harman, I want to 'metaphorically' scalp her before anyone else.
