Police are urging women not to walk alone at night on the University of British Columbia campus in Vancouver after two women were groped.
Early Thursday, a man grabbed a woman who was walking alone on Biological Sciences Road, then fled the area. The woman was not injured.
RCMP Sgt. Peter Thiessen said the incident is similar to another groping that happened on campus in September.
"There is just some general similarities in the type of area that it occurred and some general descriptions that may be somewhat similar," he said.
"But there are some differences as well, so we are not clear on whether they are linked or not but felt it necessary to put the information out."
In the earlier incident, a woman told police she had been walking along University Boulevard just after midnight when an unidentified man approached and tried to grope her. The woman was able to break away but was not able to provide a detailed description of the man, police said.
In light of the two incidents, Thiessen urged women on the campus to be cautious.
"We're encouraging women on the UBC campus to be vigilant, to carry cellphones and to avoid walking alone, especially at night," he said.
The man in Thursday's incident is described as Caucasian, between 30 and 35 years old and about five feet eleven inches tall, with dark hair and eyes. He was wearing dark blue jeans, a dark windbreaker and a dark baseball cap.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the UBC RCMP detachment at 604-224-1322 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
Police seek Burnaby witnesses
Meanwhile, Mounties in Burnaby, B.C., are looking for witnesses to a sexual assault that took place early Friday.
Police say a 19-year-old woman was walking along a path near the SkyTrain line, at Edmonds Street and Griffiths Drive, just before 1 a.m. when she was approached by a man on a bicycle.
The man exposed himself and asked for sexual favours. When she refused, the man assaulted her and fled on the bike. The victim suffered minor injuries, police said.
The assailant is described as Caucasian 28 and 32 years old, about five feet eight inches tall and 150 pounds, with a medium build. He had short, curly brown hair and a beard. He was wearing a black T-shirt and light-coloured sweatpants and was riding a red bicycle.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Burnaby RCMP at 604-294-7794.

Yes, the "I don't know what he looked like" is probably another example of the "womyn's studies" experts ensuring the "rape" game is still running hot as much dollars depends on it..

What a bunch of bullshit, fuck them, women lie so much about rape that I don't beileve it when a women says she was raped, which is a bad thing really because women lie so much about rape that more and more people are not beileving them which means the real victims of rape are counted in among the liars.

Police urge caution after man approaches girl
Claimed to be a police officer
Last Updated: Saturday, October 9, 2010 | 2:44 PM PT
The Canadian Press
Police in Delta, B.C., are investigating after an eight-year-old girl was approached by a man claiming to be a police officer.
Sgt. Sharlene Brooks said the girl was walking to school Wednesday morning when the man came up to her. He was not in uniform, though Brooks said he presented what appeared to be a badge.
The man briefly spoke with the girl but did not make any attempt to grab or follow her, Brooks said.
The girl reported the incident one day later, but Delta police haven't been able to confirm whether the man was actually an officer.
The force is reminding parents to discuss safety with their children.
"It's just another opportunity for us to remind parents and guardians that if your children are walking to school, they should be accompanied by either an adult or be in the company of others," Brooks said in an interview.
The man told the girl he was looking for someone and asked if she'd seen him, Brooks said. While it's possible he was a plainclothes officer, Brooks said approaching young children is not something the force typically does.
The man is described as Caucasian, about five feet eight inches tall and between the ages of 35 and 45. He was wearing jeans and a T-shirt at the time of the incident.
School officials have sent a cautionary notice home to parents.

Agreed outdoors, it seems to be misandy year every year in the western nations, but you have to admit that if the story about the guy acting like a cop and going after little girls is true then it's good the the police warn everyone.

i have two children-boy and girl---adult moose can be very good but can also be very strong-but if you get lucky enough to harvest a calf-this is the way to go.
i just got back from hunting with my daughter yesterday about noon-we had a great time-seen a cow and calf moose-i only have a calf tag-and the calf was maybe last years?-so i didn't take the risk and shoot it-something about the long nose and the grey on it's legs which made me have some doubt-so we watched them walk away(better safe than sorry) Then a bull started calling -i called back and he was coming in close-i thought it would be neat for my daughter to see but someone came in a vehicle and screwed things up for us-but all in all it was an exciting adventure that my daughter and myself will be talking about for some time.

Re: Assaults prompt warning on UBC campus
I agree with the consensus as to wariness regarding the validity of the alleged groping, given the number of well-documented cases where campus feminists have manufactured stories in order to perpetuate their lucrative lies. I recall one feminist when caught explained she was "raising awareness." I wonder how many real crimes are ignored across the city whilst the police play bit parts in this all too likely pantomime?

Hopefully this isn't another lie made up.
So many real victims won't be treated as serious, which is the real problem here.
Feminists have made real victims afraid to actual to report, since they are afraid they won't be believed.
